The Walking Dead Spoilers: Season 10 Episode 19 – “One More”

Spoilers say The Walking Dead’s tenth season set to be heavily character driven, episode 19 entitled One More will focus on Father Gabriel and Aaron.

As fans recall, Alexandria was basically abandoned and needs to be rebuilt following the war with The Whisperers. With supplies low, Father Gabriel and Aaron head out on a hunt in search of food and more.

Speaking with comicbook.com, show runner Angela Kang teased what is in store of the two characters. “This is an episode I love. It’s really a kind of back-to-the-basics survival story, very classic Walking Dead, just our people out in the world on a search for food.”

“Just basic, basic stuff, but really, these characters get to get into some pretty deep philosophy about what’s the state of the world, what do they believe, do they believe people are redeemable?” Kang said. “I think both Father Gabriel and Aaron have been on a journey that’s interesting in terms of their worldview, so a lot of things come crashing in.”

The Walking Dead Season 10 – Their Faith Will Be Tested

On their travels, the pair will have their faith tested according to AMC’s synopsis of the show. “Small tragedies lead to bigger tragedies as faith is broken and optimism is fragmented when they are put to the ultimate test.”

Fans will be introduced to Mays, played by Terminator star Robert Patrick. In the teaser clip, Mays can be seen coming out of the shadows to speak to Father Gabriel about food. Mays also pokes fun at his clerical collar. Will he be an ally or an enemy? His introduction in the clip brings an air of mystery. We see Father Gabriel meet him alone. Could he be hallucinating or hungover?

The Walking Dead Season 10 – Is Father Gabriel Questioning His Faith

According to The Walking Dead spoilers from MOVIEidol, Father Gabriel gets drunk one night. Aaron leaves in the morning leading to Gabriel’s run in with this stranger making some fans believe this meeting with Mays could all be in his head. It’s quite possible as all of The Walking Dead characters have been dealing with the emotional baggage from the apocalypse and their past. Father Gabriel is also known to have wrestled with his faith and religion in previous seasons after being forced to commit sins in order to survive.
