But before we get into the week’s spoilers, we have a quick programming note. Y&R will be preempted on Thursday, November 26th for the Thanksgiving holiday, and on Thursday, November 27th, Y&R will broadcast an encore episode. But there will be plenty of action earlier in the week, and we’ve got the scoop about what Y&R viewers can expect.

#1 Theo Vanderway Causes Turmoil For The Abbott Family

The week will kick off as Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) get served with Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) lawsuit contesting Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) will. Kyle will be irate over the whole thing, and he’ll later get into a near-altercation with Theo over at Society. Meanwhile, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will run to Jack to tell him that Theo asked her to spy on the family for intel about the lawsuit, which Jack will much appreciate.

#2 Chelsea Lawson Learns About Adam Newman’s Commitment To The Mental Facility

Over with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she’ll demand answers from both Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about where Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is being held. Chelsea will be horrified to learn that Adam’s on a court-ordered mandatory 72-hour hold at an unnamed facility, and she’ll blast Sharon for her part in the whole thing.

Adam will remain at the facility, and he won’t help his case as he rants to his doctor about Victor being responsible for everything. Later in the week, Victor will do his best to try to stop Adam from self-destructing, but Adam might just act out enough to get himself a longer stay at the facility!

#3 Billy Abbott Is Under Suspicion For Chance Chancellor’s Shooting

Elsewhere, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will continue his investigation into Chance Chancellor’s (Justin Gaston) shooting, and he’ll end up locating the gun used in the shooting, which will turn out to be registered to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). It looks like Billy will be under some serious suspicion for the shooting, but something tells us that the case is coming together against Billy way too easily. We’ll see how this unfolds.

Meanwhile, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will face a tough decision. As Y&R viewers know, Abby’s busy planning her wedding to Chance, so will she have to make a difficult decision about the wedding? Abby and Chance seem pretty solid, so it doesn’t seem like we’ll see difficulties between them – perhaps Abby’s tough choice will involve another family member.

#4 Summer Newman Has A Change Of Heart

Other Y&R spoilers indicate that Summer Newman (Hunter King) will change her mind about something. As Y&R viewers know, Summer has just taken a new position running Jabot Collective. Might Summer change her mind about taking the job? Of course, another possibility here is that Summer will have a change of heart about her relationship with Kyle. We could be looking at a situation in which Summer wants Kyle back!

#5 Sharon Newman Celebrates Thanksgiving By Giving Back

Finally, as the short week on Y&R winds down, Sharon will remind her friends and family of the importance of giving back. It’s a tradition for Sharon to host a Thanksgiving meal for the needy at Crimson Lights, so we might see that take place again. Sharon and her family will have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season, given that she has beat cancer, so we should see a nice celebration.

It looks like we’re in for a great week! Stay tuned to the CBS soap and don’t forget to check Celebrating The Soaps often for the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates, and news.
