5 Freaky ‘Young And The Restless’ Weekly Spoilers: Abby’s Devastating News – Summer Gets Dirt On Sally – Gloria’s Back

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of January 18-22, tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin viewers will be in for an exciting week on the CBS soap. As the week begins, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will get devastating news – Abby will be unable to carry a baby. Chance will do his best to comfort Abby, but Abby will be inconsolable.

That will lead to well-meaning visits from Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), but still Abby will be feeling pretty desperate. “The only thing I need, I can’t have,” Abby will tearfully tell Chance. A bit later in the week, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will jump on board to help Abby. Victor will probably suggest adoption or surrogacy, but Abby might not be ready to hear that yet.

#1 Victor Newman Steps Up For His Children

Victor will probably tell Abby that he’ll move heaven and earth to make the process easier for her, no matter how she chooses to go about having a family with Chance. Speaking of Victor, he’ll share a civil and almost tender conversation with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) about Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), who won’t be doing well.

Chelsea’s lack of progress during her physical therapy sessions will start to wear on Adam, until he gets a ray of hope when Chelsea makes an angry utterance to communicate. This will come after Chelsea imagines Adam and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) kissing, which will occur after Sharon drops by unannounced. The whole visit and imagined scenario will really push Chelsea too far.

#2 Lily Winters Has Victoria Newman’s Number

Meanwhile, during the week of January 18-22 on Y&R, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will continue to use her kids as weapons as she tries to get in between Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) relationship with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Victoria will know exactly what she’s doing, and it won’t take long for Lily to figure the whole thing out, either!

Next, Sharon will ask Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) for help with Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind). As Y&R viewers will remember, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) previously suggested that Nikki could talk with Faith about the perils of drinking. It looks like Sharon will ask Nikki to do just that – we’ll see if it helps or just puts more pressure on Faith that she needs to cope with!

#3 Nate Hastings Issues A Warning

Other Y&R spoilers indicate that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will say his peace about Billy to Lily. Nate will want his cousin to be careful in her relationship with Billy, since Billy has quite the history of romantic woes. Meanwhile, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will again question Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) future with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).

Elena can clearly see that a relationship is forming between Devon and Amanda, even though Devon isn’t admitting it to himself yet. Perhaps Elena’s questioning will get Devon to realize that something’s developing there. Speaking of Amanda, she and Nate will have a chat about their past, possibly setting things straight, now that they’ll be working together on “Ask MD Now.”

#4 Summer Newman His Pay Dirt

As far as Summer Newman (Hunter King) is concerned, she’ll take a meeting with B&B’s Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) in Los Angeles. Flo, who is dating Sally’s ex, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), will have some big news to share about Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Summer will want all the dirt on Sally, and it looks like Flo will be more than happy to provide all the juicy details for Summer.

Back in Genoa City, Traci will make some sort of confession to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and Jack will offer his advice to his sister. Meanwhile, Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman) will be back in Genoa City and she’ll have a bone to pick with her son Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart). Gloria will be peeved with Kevin for some reason, and we can only guess that it’s about that flash drive that Kevin destroyed

#5 Rey Rosales Gets Suspicious

Finally, during the week of January 18-22 on Y&R, Sharon will receive a bouquet of flowers delivered to her home, which Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will intercept. As it turns out, the flowers will be from Adam, and this will of course raise Rey’s eyebrows. Later, Victor will confront Sharon about Adam, so he may want to know what’s going on between his son and his former therapist.
