#1 Y&R Airs First Two Episodes Of The Show From 1973
First, on Monday, viewers will see Y&R’s first two episodes ever from 1973. Back when Y&R began, the show was just 30 minutes long, so Y&R will fill the hour with episodes 1 and 2 of the show. In the episode, Brad Elliot (Tom Hallick) will arrive in Genoa City, and viewers will be introduced to the legendary Brooks and Foster families. Viewers will see Stuart Brooks (Robert Colbert) introduce himself – that would be Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) grandfather.
#2 Katherine Chancellor Sees The Results From Her Facelift
Then on Tuesday, viewers will see an infamous episode of the CBS drama that aired back in 1984 and shows Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) seeing the results from her facelift for the first time. We should note that Jeanne Cooper got a facelift in real life, and it was written into the show. Meanwhile, Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will begin her modeling career at Jabot, while Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) is suspicious of Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Finally, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) relationship will be tested.
#3 Neil Winters & Drucilla Winters Celebrate Their Marriage With Family & Friends
On Wednesday, Y&R will show an episode from 1993, when Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) and Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) celebrate with their family and friends following their wedding. It should be a wonderful walk down memory lane for Neil and Drucilla fans. In addition, the episode will feature Michael Baldwin (Christian Leblanc) plotting his revenge against Christine.
#4 Katy Perry Makes A Guest Appearance On Y&R
On Thursday’s episode, which originally aired in 2008, a special guest star will be featured on Y&R – Katy Perry! Katy will steal the spotlight as she poses for an exciting photoshoot at Restless Style. The whole thing will have been Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) idea, while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will wonder if it is such a good idea. Nick and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be thrilled with Katy’s photoshoot, but Jack will remain skeptical.
Meanwhile, Adam Newman (Chris Engen) will approach Victor with an idea – he’ll want to work on Beauty of Nature together with Victor and Sabrina Newman (Raya Meddine). Victor will think it’s a great idea, and that they should make the whole thing a family affair. And over with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), she’ll push Gloria Abbott’s (Judith Chapman) buttons at the boutique, and Gloria will push right back. Expect to see a major bickering fest between the ladies!
#5 Devon Hamilton & Hilary Hamilton’s 2015 Wedding
Finally, on Friday, Y&R viewers will see an episode that originally aired in 2015 and features the wedding of Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan). It will be an eventful episode, as Neil will do his best to make amends to Hilary before the ceremony and Devon struggles with a big secret, since he’s being blackmailed by Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers). Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will offer Hilary words of wisdom before the ceremony begins as well.
