5 Wild ‘Young And The Restless’ Weekly Spoilers: Devon Attacks Nate – Summer Confronts Kyle – Gloria Returns

CBS The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of October 19-23, tease that viewers are in for a big Genoa City, Wisconsin week on the CBS soap. As the week kicks off, the Abbott family will struggle with the loss of Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams), who passed away last week. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and Ashely Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will talk at length about their mother and what her death means to them. Y&R viewers will also see some nice flashbacks of Dina as well.

Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will be moved by Dina’s life and her strong family ties to start a family with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz), while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be pushed in Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) direction as he seeks comfort over the loss of his grandmother. After Lola comforts Kyle, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will eavesdrop, then confront Lola afterward, telling her that she’s getting exactly what she wants. Lola will fire back that Summer shouldn’t be lurking and stalking Kyle.

#1 Chance Chancellor Learns His Fate

As the week of October 19-23 progresses on Y&R, Chance will await his inquiry over what came out in the exposé about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and what happened between them in Las Vegas. Chance will be on pins and needles as the week starts, and there should be some resolution to his inquiry by the end of the week.

Meanwhile, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will worry about Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), who won’t seem so happy after she finds out that Sharon’s cancer surgery went well. Faith will be having difficulty handling all the pressure of her mom’s illness and the Adam exposé, so she’ll sneak out of the house late at night to meet a friend.

#2 Chelsea Lawson Puts Adam Newman On Notice

In other Y&R drama, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will navigate their relationship at Chancellor Communications, while Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) puts Adam on notice. Perhaps Chelsea will get wind of the fact that Adam has been making overtures to Sharon. Speaking of Sharon, she and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will plan for their future as the week progresses. Wedding plans will be underway!

Summer will eventually meet with Kyle during the week of October 19-23, and she’ll give him some sort of reality check. Summer will probably reveal the reason for her “runaway bride” routine, and she’ll reveal that she’s been watching Kyle’s actions since she bolted from the Chicago hotel. Kyle probably won’t be too happy about the situation, especially since he’ll realize that Summer caught him commiserating with Lola of all people.

#3 Jack Abbott Pays Tribute To Dina Mergeron

Jack will decide to honor Dina in a special way, as he tells his family that he’s found a way to pay tribute to their late mother. Jack will present Traci and Ashley with a box containing something that surprises them – what could it be? Could Jack have special plans for the “teardrop of love” necklace that was so special to Dina?

Next on Y&R, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will be stunned with Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman) makes a surprise appearance on their doorstep. According to Y&R spoilers Gloria will show up unexpectedly at the Chancellor mansion, and from there, Kevin and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will try to get answers from their manipulative mom about exactly what she might be running from this time. We’ll see what Gloria reveals.

#4 Devon Hamilton Learns About Elena Dawson & Nate Hastings’ Affair

Finally, the drama is really going to heat up with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) during the week of October 19-23. As Y&R viewers know, Devon will be getting a “businessperson of the year” award, and the ceremony will apparently be very difficult for Elena, as she tries to be happy for Devon despite all the guilt she’s carrying about her affair with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

As the ceremony progresses, Devon and Elena will end up in a suite, where Elena will tearfully confess that she and Nate had a moment of weakness and slept together. That will send Devon back down to the lobby where he’ll attack Nate. It looks like at least one punch will be thrown, and it will be a bad scene for everyone involved. Y&R spoilers say that Elena will try to do damage control, but it looks like the news will be out for the world to hear.

#5 Devon Hamilton Turns To Amanda Sinclair for Comfort

Later, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will be on the receiving end of an invitation from Devon, so Devon might turn to Amanda for support after learning about Elena’s affair with Nate. Of course, once Amanda learns about the affair, she’ll realize exactly why Nate ended things with her, and this could push Devon and Amanda closer.
