The soap star, Stacy Haiduk may be finding herself back on the daytime soap The Young and the Restless once the soap resumes production. She recently finished playing her role as Kristen DiMera on the soap, Days of our Lives. Which could mean that she could decide to go back to The Young and the Restless, and now might be a good time too?

As of right now, the daytime soap’s production is on hold, which means that they have time to look over the scripts and story and make changes if they would like to. Especially since filming may look different once filming resumes.

The Young And The Restless Cast – Stacy Haiduk’s Characters

Stacy first debuted on the show back in 2009, playing a character by the name of Mary Jane Benson. However, she would soon be revealed as Paul’s (Doug Davidson) sister, Patty Williams. After she was sent off to an institution, Stacy came back as Patty’s look-alike therapist by the name of, Dr. Emily Peterson.

It may be a good idea for them to bring back the therapist, especially since many of the characters would get good use out of seeing her. Especially if they write in the pandemic into a storyline. Stacy talked to Soap Hub about her stance on returning to the daytime soap, Y&R. She went on to say, “Oh, yes. Absolutely! [Laughs] Maybe Patty can dress up as Emily and start seeing patients?”

Y&R Spoilers – Stacy Haiduk Does Not Watch Herself On TV

After running out of new episodes, Y&R began to show classic episodes of the show. Recently, Mary Jane Benson has appeared in the classic reruns of the soap. Haiduk went on to tell Soap Hub about how she does not herself on tv, “I loved playing her. I actually haven’t seen [those shows]. All I ever saw of what I did on YR was when I’d put my Emmy tapes together. I should probably go back and look at them especially now since I’m not married to it.

It’s hard to watch myself [when I’m airing].” She revealed that she loved the characters that she played on The Young and the Restless, “I loved those journeys. I never watched my work because I thought if I did, I’d pick myself apart!”
