Eva Longoria – Reveals Young And The Restless ‘Misogynistic Note’!

Andy Cohen has become known for persuading his celebrity guests to play the game Plead The Fifth on his Watch What Happens Live talk show.

And he succeeded once again when Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria appeared on an episode. As a result of his questioning, Cohen got Eva to reveal the “most misogynistic note” that she ever received from a Hollywood executive, according to MSN.

Eva Longoria Throws Shade At The Young And The Restless!

Looking back, Longoria recalled her experiences on The Young And The Restless. And though she didn’t name the person, she did say that an exec on the soap opera gave an acting direction that she viewed as prejudiced against women and her Latina background. The director asked her to perform in a “more Latiny and spicy” way.

And Eva shared that she told The Young And The Restless exec, “I don’t know what that means.” In response, Andy commented, “Wow, that’s also a little racist.” And Eva agreed. However, while she opened up about her soap opera experience, Longoria did decline to reveal which Desperate Housewives co-star reportedly behaved like a bully.

Eva Longoria – Dishes On Desperate Housewives Reboot

But while Eva didn’t name her Desperate Housewives co-star who bullied her, she did dish on the possibility of a reboot. And if a revival occurs, Longoria shared that she would rush to become “the first to sign up!” But the actress, who portrayed Gabrielle (Gabby) Solis on the drama, told Andy that her co-stars might not want to join her, according to People.

“I think I’d be the only one to sign up,” she confessed. However, Longoria noted that she does miss playing Gabby. And she also revealed what she thinks Gabby would do if a reboot does occur. “Gabby would be an influencer, for sure. She’d be an Instagrammer,” theorized Longoria.

But Eva explained why she thinks that a reboot seems unlikely. And she explained that the cast “fully mined” their characters in Desperate Houswives’ eight seasons. “Back in the day, we used to shoot 24 episodes a season,” she recalled. “And we did that for eight years. There was nobody left on the street for me to sleep with. I slept with everybody,” she teased.
