The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, April 23, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will talk with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) at the Newman Ranch. Victor will tell Nikki that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) didn’t buy the truth about how he killed AJ Montalvo and that he accused victor of making up a lie about him.

Victor will also let Nikki know that he partially blames her for all of this because she blabbed the story about Adam to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) when he specifically asked her to keep it between them. Nikki will fire back that Adam is the one who has been attacking the family with no consequences. Nikki and Victor will argue over Adam, and Nikki will remind Victor that Adam is not a helpless child any longer.

Next on Y&R, over at Crimson Lights, Adam and Victoria will bicker. Victoria will muse that Victor must have told Adam the story of AJ’s death, and Adam will say that they probably made up the story in order to oust him from Newman Enterprises. Adam and Victoria will argue and trade barbs, and ultimately Adam will tell Victoria to go to hell.

Y&R Spoilers – Mariah Copeland & Theo Vanderway Mend Fences

Next on Y&R, at Society, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will arrive and briefly have words with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), who will be at the bar ordering food. Mariah will be curt, then apologize to Theo. Theo and Mariah will talk about Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and Theo will mention taking care of his mother when she was ill.

The talk will soon turn to how Theo plagiarized the pitch he made to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and Mariah will offer Theo an ear and some understanding about the whole thing. The two will bond, and Mariah will say that he’ll surely find a better fit somewhere other than Jabot.

Across the restaurant, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will talk, and the subject of Adam and Victoria will come up. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will soon join them and they’ll talk about work. Lily will notice the ease with which Billy and Amanda speak. As they continue talking, Theo will overhear them discussing bringing in a younger demographic to Chancellor Media, and he’ll grin.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Fills Chelsea Lawson In On His Firing

Next on Y&R, at Adam and Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) penthouse, Chelsea will go on about the baby shower, and when Adam gets a word in edgewise, he’ll tell her about getting fired from Newman Enterprises and about the story of AJ’s death. Chelsea will be stunned by the story, but she’ll note that if Victor was trying to frame Adam, then he probably just says that he was a cold-blooded killer.

Adam will ask Chelsea if there’s a part of her that thinks the story could be true. Chelsea will only stay that she’s shocked by the whole thing. Chelsea and Adam will agree that they won’t let Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) get wind of the story.

Next on Y&R, back at the Newman Ranch, Victoria and Victor will argue about the fact that she approached Adam. Victor will say that Victoria enjoys this, and Victoria will fire right back that Adam blackmailed him and she paid the price. Victor will say that he was going to reinstate her as CEO and that she didn’t need to ruin Adam’s life.

But Victoria won’t apologize for her actions, much to Victor’s horror. Victoria will say that she’ll do whatever it takes to protect the family and the company. Victor will give Victoria back her CEO position, saying that she’s earned it but that she’s lost his respect. Victoria will head to Newman Enterprises, where she’ll sit behind the desk, while back at the ranch Nikki will comfort Victor.
