Jabot To Aquire Marchetti, Did Newman Enterprises Miss Out On Y&R?

Out of nowhere, Jabot is about to acquire Marchetti & relocate its headquarters to Genoa City on Y&R. How? Why? Did Newman Enterprises miss an opportunity?

Jack Abbott, (Peter Bergman) let alone Y&R fans have not seen Jabot in months. Ergo, how is it even close to possible that Jabot would be in a position to purchase Marchetti based in Milan & relocate it to Italy?

The Young & the Restless previews point to Kyle Abbott, (Michael Mealor) the current Co-CEO of Jabot, running Marchetti once it’s been relocated to Genoa City.

Understandably, Kyle hasn’t been to Jabot at all either, but he’s been living in Milan. What’s Jack’s excuse? Also, who will do whatever Kyle was doing for Jabot as Co-CEO if his role changes & he does end up running Marchetti in Genoa City?

Y&R Spoilers – Newman Enterprises Missed An Opportunity, The CEO Shuffle On The Young & the Restless

It’s apparent that Newman Enterprises has been consumed by Victoria’s farce of a marriage to Ashland Locke.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) was Victoria’s trusted COO. Ashland was finally ousted from the once named Newman-Locke & Victoria’s life & home for a substantial fee sponsored by Victor Newman. (Eric Braeden) Then Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was appointed CEO (for about a minute). Then Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was back as CEO but was mandated to have a Co-CEO by Victor & she chose her mother, Nikki.

So, who’s doing the work Nikki did as COO? Who has been doing anything at Newman Enterprises besides coddling  v since what should have been the final demise of her relationship with Ashland Locke?

The answer is nobody has been doing anything that hasn’t revolved around Victoria Newman in months.

Acquiring Marchetti, A Missed Out Bidding War Between The Mustache & Smilin’ Jack Abbott on Y&R

Even from afar, as in really afar (as in Milan, Italy), Summer Newman-Abbott somehow knew to not bring up the financially failing Marchetti to her grandfather Victor Newman. She did, however, bring it up to her husband & her husband’s father Jack Abbott.

Perhaps if Newman Enterprises had business as a top priority one of their relatives that currently is employed by Marchetti would have brought the Marchetti opportunity itself to their attention.

Or, maybe if the great Victor Newman wasn’t completely consumed with protecting his grown daughter from a compulsive liar & using his son Adam as a pawn to keep her in town, he would have known about Marchetti’s financial shortcomings before Summer knew of them & would have taken advantage.

Things have been too peaceful between The Mustache & Smilin’ Jack Abbott. Marchetti was an opportunity to mix things up that has been missed on The Young & the Restless.
