Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful will recall that not all that long ago, Eric had allowed an “open marriage” at least on Quinn Forrester’s (Rena Sofer) part, so she could be sexually satisfied. Eric was so upset about his struggles with erectile dysfunction that he encouraged Quinn and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) to keep sleeping together after their affair had been discovered!

But The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers also show that Eric put the kibosh on that “open marriage” pretty quickly once he realized that it wasn’t “just sex” for the two, but that they were starting to fall in love with one another! Brooke railed against that notion, and had refused to believe that Quinn wasn’t just continuing to have her affair with Carter and wouldn’t believe that Eric had allowed it until he told her himself!

Even then she continued to tell him how wrong it was! But Brooke notes a commonality between Eric’s wanting Quinn to be satisfied and taking that extreme measure, but not allowing himself to be satisfied with Donna, and hurting her terribly in the process!

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers And Rumors – Brooke Forrester Wants To Make A Point

The Bold and The Beautiful soap fans will recall how Eric seemed to be building up to telling Donna that he wanted her back, when he told her two sisters that he wanted to talk to Donna alone. Brooke had previously been trying to talk Eric into reconciling with Donna, after prodding her to confess to him that she was still in love with him after all those years!

Donna and Eric had talked for quite some time, with her even bringing out a honey bear and letting him lick honey off her finger, a sweet reminder of their love in the past. Eric became aroused for the first time in months, but rushed back home to Quinn – and couldn’t perform! Then, while Brooke and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) went to have some chopped salad at Il Giardino, Eric, pushed by Quinn, proceeded to banish Donna not only from Forrester Creations, but from his life! When Brooke and Katie found out what he’d done from a brokenhearted Donna, Brooke struck on a perfect way to make a point to Eric!

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers And Rumors – Brooke Forrester Reminds Eric Forrester Of His “Open Marriage”

B&B spoilers indicate Brooke doesn’t just want Eric to fool around with Donna while still married to Quinn, but she uses his so called “open marriage” concept to make a point. After all, if he had allowed Quinn to sleep with Carter so she could be satisfied, isn’t it a little hypocritical to deny himself happiness with Donna so he could be satisfied?

Longtime viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful know that Brooke, too was once married to Eric and she knows how to “work him” and takes no shame in doing so. Brooke points out that of course it would be wrong for Eric to sleep with Donna while married to Quinn, but he could fix that situation pretty easily – by going through with the divorce from Quinn! Eric says he didn’t want to hurt Donna, but he couldn’t be around her and be faithful to Quinn even if he was going to divorce her before the divorce became final!

According to B&B soap opera rumors, Brooke claps back, trying to show him how foolish his reasoning is, she tries to not put Quinn down but it’s not easy!
