The Young and the Restless fans know that when it comes to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), you can certainly expect the unexpected. While she is a character that you certainly want to root for, at the same time, you don’t know what direction she will go in at any given time. With that said, her mental health issues have always determined the outcome of many things in her life. With that said, we’ve got five things you need to know about Chloe right here. Check it out below and let us know what you think.
#1 Her Boarding School Years
One of the reasons why Chloe Mitchell has had a hard time in her life is because she really didn’t have much of a foundation or the loving support she deserved from her family. Her mother fell pregnant after sleeping with a plumber and she was shipped off to boarding school at a very early age. As a child, she was hardly seen at home.
#2 Her Genoa City Homecoming
Chloe changed her name before she came back to Genoa City. When she realized that she was pregnant, she drugged up Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and made it look like they had made love when he woke up. Talk about a master manipulator.
#3 Delia Abbott’s Death
It was absolutely devastating when Delia was killed in a hit and run by Adam. Chloe was heartbroken beyond repair. Once it was revealed that it was Adam who killed Delia, it was too late for Chloe to confront him because he was presumed dead.
#4 She Was Tracked Down And Kidnapped By Adam Newman
By now, there’s no doubt that everyone can see a trend here. Adam and Chloe will always be connected, for better or force worse. Or at least, that’s what it appears to be from the surface. Even though she tried to fake her own death, Adam discovered her and tracked her down, and kidnapped her. This was in revenge for framing him for poisoning Constance, which he obviously didn’t do.

#5 Now She’s Helping Chelsea Newman To Frame AdamNewman For A Murder He Did Not Commit
Because Chloe is the kind of gal that just can’t get herself out of trouble, she’s now trying to help Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) by framing Adam for attempted murder. Even though it was Chelsea who had poisoned Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), together they are trying to shift the blame on Adam. Watch this space, as there’s so much more to come.
