The Young and the Restless Alum Lands New Role In Hollywood

There’s good news for a few daytime television alumni’s that are making their mark in Hollywood. One former The Young and the Restless star is making it big in Hollywood while another soap favorite is about to make a huge jump to QVC.

First up, The Young and the Restless alum Sean Carrigan, who many fans remember as Stitch, is currently working on a high-profile film with some very big names in Hollywood. The actor is filming scenes in France with none other than Matt Damon and Christian Bale on a yet-to-be-titled racing movie centered around Henry Ford II’s legendary quest to beat Enzo Ferrari at the 1966 Le Mans World Championship. The film is set to be released by next June.

Meanwhile, Terri Conn, who played Katie on As The World Turns, has a new job as a QVC host, and it’s one that she’s very excited about. She recently told Soaps in Depth in an interview, “I won’t be on the air until February. I start six months of hardcore training in September. It’s an amazing company that really looks like so much fun. QVC has their fans that call in, and I have a feeling they are probably some of the same fans from daytime.”

With that being said, it’s without a doubt that daytime television fans can’t wait to see Sean on the big screen and of course, Terri on QVC. After all, everyone knows that soap fans are some of the most loyal ones out there! They continue to cheer on their favorites, even after they leave their daytime roles.
