Genoa City’s Revolving Door

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Owens has quietly left the cast list. Holden has been off-screen for a little while now, spending quality time outside of Genoa City with his biological dad, Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore).

There has been buzz that Curtis Washington could be taking over the character once Holden comes back from his vacay with his father, so it’ll be interesting to see the actor step into Holden’s shoes.

The good news is that Holden isn’t going anywhere, but the sad news is, Owens is exiting the canvas.

Holden Novak’s Story

The Young and the Restless spoilers note that Holden has his hands in many storylines right now. Not only does he have a sizzling romance with Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), but he also recently figured out he was part of the legendary Winters family, not only connected to Malcolm, but also Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) half-brother.

As Lily is on the cusp of possibly finding out that she has cancer, she’ll need all her family members to lean on!

Plus, upon Holden’s return, he’s about to learn that his mom, Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) is dating someone his own age, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Holden is sure to disapprove of this romance, and fans are gearing up for his reaction!

Holden entered storylines under mysterious circumstances in January 2025, claiming at first that he was Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers).

He also entered the canvas with a link to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), which ended up being the fact that the two were behind the accidental demise of an art museum owner in Los Angeles.

With well over a year in Genoa City, Holden has established some interesting roots in the little town, so there’s more story to tell where the character is concerned.
