The Young And The Restless spoilers: The week Of February 8, 2021 Continues With Repercussions Over a Fan Fave’s Departure
On February 1 fans saw the last of Donny Boaz as Phillip “Chance” Chancellor—indefinitely. Prior to this Boaz himself announced the news on Instagram. Fans were shocked to learn that he’d been let go from the soap and that his exit was not his choice. Boaz joined in 2019.
Especially perplexing is that Chance and Abby were in the middle of a front burner story that involved recent marriage followed by an attempt to secure a womb for rent. They had Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) all lined up and ready when Chance discovered that he has a low sperm count. Next thing you know he gets a mysterious call stares off into space with those baby blues and poof, he’s gone.
Y&R Spoilers – The week of February 8, 2021 Brings Don Diamont Back
Don Diamont returns to Genoa City, not as Brad Carlton a role he played from 1985 to 2009, but as his The Bold and the Beautiful character Bill Spencer.
Friday, February 12 will be a terrific cliffhanger epi as this is when Bill shows his handsome face and debonair self. The sister CBS soaps have been engaging in crossovers as a part of a story involving Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) who was originally on B&B and is now on Y&R.
The Young And The Restless spoilers – The week Of February 8, 2021
Sally is a slinky little minx and she has plenty to hide. But so does one of her tormentors, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). His girlfriend Summer Newman (Hunter King) initiated the cross country fishing expedition looking for dirt on her rival. But it seems the tables have turned as Sally is the one in possession of scandalous dirt on Kyle, courtesy of Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson).
How will Bill’s visit factor into the ongoing espionage? We can’t wait to find out!

Why Bring Sally on if Chance was let go?
I agree with Sara why is so much being invested in this silly Sally story, even bringing actors into the story who already have jobs on other soaps, while putting another actor out of work and trashing Abby and Chances story! Nepotism seems very proactive at Y&R, pity the same effort couldn't be put into some of the stories and save fans having to constantly watch the obviously favoured Kyle and Summer all the time. This is a disgraceful way to treat Donny, promoting a story with actors not even on the show when he has been let go! And what about Melissa her marriage and baby story are now a joke because supposedly loving hubby has left cry baby Abby to rent a womb all by herself, some love story that turned out to be! What a load of BS.
Why bring in new characters and let Donny go …. let Sally , Gloria, Kyle or Summer go .
Letting "Chance" go is a mistake. He and Abby are a great couple; he makes her so less silly and self-involved. So now what? Abby goes through with the surrogacy and becomes a married single mom…. ridiculous! As for Sally, she was a good character on B&B with Wyatt before they turned her into a pathetic woman who could not live w/o a man. Now she's a ruthless woman going after jobs she wants (but can't have) and willing to hold peoples' pasts against them (pot/kettle anyone?). What a mess.
Big mistake letting Chance go!!!! The Sally story is very boring and stupid! Send her back to B&B!!!
