Victor has done a lot of low down dirty things in the past, but thus far no one has been able to make his crimes truly stick.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Maria DiDomenico Will Continue In The Role Of Alyssa Montalvo For Now

Maria DiDomenico was originally intended for a brief run on Y&R but that has all changed. The beautiful and talented actress debuted on the sudser on March 16 and now TPTB has extended her run for an undetermined amount of time. Alyssa Montalvo knows Adam (Mark Grossman) from back in Kansas where they grew up together.

These days she is an investigative reporter and had the bad luck to be one of the many, many people he’s used to his advantage.

Apparently there is more to her story as the character will now recur presumably to get even with Adam and perhaps play a part in taking down Victor as well.

Alyssa initially was happy to see Adam during his recent return to the Kansas ranch. But she unwittingly said something that set off a whole chain of events which have now grown out of control.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Is Once Again Blackmailing Victor Newman

Long story short, Alyssa’s dad and Adam’s stepfather died under sad and apparently shady circumstances. Adam surmised that Victor killed his friend’s dad and sent her off to find the truth.

Alyssa came to Genoa City with research that shows, apparently, that Victor was involved in the death and covered it up.

She wrote an article that Adam used to blackmail Victor into giving him control of Newman Enterprises. He had no interest in publishing the blockbuster article, and now Alyssa is screaming mad. She wants her words to see the light of day so that justice prevails; Adam got what he wanted so he no longer cares.

But Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) cares! She was dumped at work so that devious Adam could take control and she wants revenge. She has approached Alyssa and what comes next will change everything!
