TPTB at The Young and the Restless were looking for someone who is not only as talented as Lind but can take on the complex plot and heavy workload. Fortunately, they found what they were looking for in Caster.
The Young And The Restless Comings & Goings – Reylynn Caster Proves She’s Perfect For The Role
Viewers may recall Caster from “The Big Show Show” and the “American Housewife.” She was impressive when she took on comedy roles but it wasn’t hard for her to prove that she’s ready for drama as well.
Caster’s take on Faith’s character was impressive. She didn’t have any problems transitioning into her character and she connected with Faith’s plight and problems with ease. She didn’t over impress either. Her performances were tempered so viewers can feel her sorrow and embarrassment over her character’s actions.

She can also be forceful if the scene calls for it. Just like when she told Jordan to “shove it” after he apologized for bullying her. It’s not easy to fill into Lind’s shoes but Caster managed to do it well.

Not only is she a good actress, but she also works well with other cast members. Although she’s new to the soap, she managed to form a bond with Melody Thomas Scott, Joshua Morrow, and Sharon Case. Scott plays Nikki Newman, Morrow as Nick Newman, and Case as Sharon Newman. She also has a good working relationship with Jacob Aaron Gaines, who plays Moses Winters, Faith’s friend.
