The Young and the Restless Day Ahead Spoilers Thursday, November 29: Summer’s Emotional Goodbye, Ana And Nate Worry About Devon

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) begins with Victor (Eric Braeden) talking to Summer (Hunter King) about her new position and moving to Dubai. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) walks in on their video conference, but Victor ignores her and tells Summer he will see her soon. Phyllis is furious that Summer took the job, reminding her of what Victor did to Nick (Joshua Morrow).

Y&R Spoilers – Summer Announces She’s Leaving Town

Summer informs her that she is leaving Genoa City today. Phyllis calls Nick, which Summer thinks is a good idea so they can hang out until she leaves and feels it would be good for her to leave on good terms.

Sharon (Sharon Case) talks to Mariah (Camryn Grimes) about spending the night with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). Mariah is conflicted but Sharon promises to support her either way; Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) interrupts them, saying she wants to chat to her about arranging the date for her and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) last night and even paying for it.

Devon (Bryton James) finds Nate (Brooks Darnell) talking with Ana (Loren Lott), who says he was just checking in on her. Ana explains that Shauna (Camryn Hamm) will be late from school due to a debate but Devon feels it will be nice for Shauna to have another female in the house; Ana says that is good as she might need to stay there a while longer until her money begins to come in from HWG.

Devon agrees for her to stay as long as she’d like; he is out the door, telling her to settle in while he does other things. He leaves and Nate says that is what he is talking about, having a bad feeling about this.

Phyllis tells Nick about Summer’s plans, saying they both know what their next move has to be! Kyle (Michael Mealor) rushes into Phyllis’ office, admitting he knew about Summer’s opportunity and he’d kill for it. Phyllis reminds him that this is exactly what Victor did to Kyle and Jack (Peter Bergman); pitting child against father. Kyle advises her to give Summer some credit as she is Phyllis’ daughter and isn’t about to be anyone’s pawn.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Furious Nick Calls Victor

Nick calls Victor, confronting him about coming between him and his kid. Victor says if he needs to confront Nick, he wouldn’t use Summer as a go-between. She doesn’t need to be in the sinking ship Jabot and deserves better than watching her father and mother implode.

Victor appreciates Summer’s abilities and the best he can do is stay out of her way. Abby (Melissa Ordway) walks in, wanting to discuss the building again; but he feels its a pass for Dark Horse. She wants him to know Dark Horse is her primary focus but she is going to do this on her own. He is proud of her.

Devon is with several people at the GCAC, drinking when Ana spots him. Devon says these people he is hanging out with are musicians, the singer is late and this is work for him and this works for him. She says this looks like partying for him and an escape from the real world; confronting him on grieving. Devon wonders if she came to town to look out for him when Cane (Daniel Goddard), Nate and Neil (Kristoff St. John) can’t.

Sharon doesn’t need thanks, feeling the gift card would just go to waste. Mia raves about the night, saying it was nice to show off Rey in a suit and she definitely knows they are back on track; since Sharon is on their side she has a request about making things wonderful again tonight. Sharon tells her about the GCAC having a great menu since Mia isn’t so great in the kitchen. Once she walks away, Mariah wants to hate her; Sharon says she can’t hate someone for wanting her husband back and Sharon wants to know she can do the right thing when it comes to Rey.

Ana wants to be with family again, and believes that her brother might have needed her too. He is curious about the timing. She says the holidays and because Hilary (Mishael Morgan) won’t be there. She says Neil and everyone is looking out for him because that is how family works. He continues to promise he is fine, excusing himself when the singer arrives.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Summer Won’t Back Down

Phyllis wants to know if this is about Billy (Jason Thompson) before Nick arrives; Summer assures her it isn’t. She loves Phyllis too and Nick walks in wanting her to work at Dark Horse, where she can work real estate and see the world. Summer mocks him, asking if he will buy her a pony and a pink car too?

Nick reminds her that Victor will throw her in the deep end eventually; both worried the last time she left town it ended in poker games and stolen cars. Summer wants to be a responsible adult and take the chance of a lifetime; only wanting them to cheer her on, Nick and Phyllis agree to support and worry about her at the same time.

Sharon thinks she’d like Mia under different circumstances, but Mariah feels she is taking the high road. She thinks she needs to be punished for having a crush on a married man, but Mariah thinks she is being too harsh.

Abby and Arturo (Jason Canela) celebrate on her bid, even though they don’t know the outcome. They talk about renovations and Lola’s (Sasha Calle) food truck can visit the site as Lola spots them. Lola tells Abby that things feel weird because Kyle apologized and says they will talk soon, but she doesn’t know what that means. Kyle is supposed to meet her and Abby says she will find out what she can do. Back at Jabot, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) joins Nick and Phyllis in wishing Summer “goodbye”. Kyle is outside the office, which surprises Summer.

Y&R Spoilers: Ana And Nate Compare Notes On Devon

Ana tells Nate everything what happened at GCAC. She doesn’t think Devon is accomplishing anything business wise. Devon walks in on them, they cover saying they are trying to figure out what to eat for dinner. He declines their dinner invitation, saying he has plans with buddies and won’t be home until late.

Nick and Phyllis are angry and curious with Nikki and Victor’s interest and choice in Summer. She says this is between Victor and Summer, besides that she is ready; deserving to be sent off with hugs and smiles. Kyle talks to Summer about the shopping, saying he is happy she chose to go. She admits she doesn’t always get what she wants, wondering if things would have been different if she had been different. He encourages her to get it. She says she will miss him, he says he will miss her too.

Summer kisses his cheek when Abby comes in saying Lola is waiting for him. He leaves to go see Lola. Abby says she came to give Kyle a message from a friend, but she also has a message for Summer; from her! Summer is shocked that Abby is there to give her helpful advice; she knows exactly what is going to happen. Summer can take it or leave it, but it is going to get ugly. She wishes Summer good luck, even though she doesn’t think she needs it.

Young And Restless Spoilers – Mia Corners Arturo

Mariah tells Sharon that this also will pass; both her and Rey are good people. Mariah says she can’t shrink him and help him fix his marriage, even though Sharon feels like she is watching a car crash in slow motion. Meanwhile, Mia finds Arturo at the bar with champagne and asks if he minds if she sits by him while she waits. He objects but she sits anyways as Lola shakes her head.

Kyle arrives and goes to a table with Lola while Mia taunts Arturo about Abby keeping him waiting. She says that no matter how much he hurts her, she will always care about him. She questions how he could think someone like Abby would be serious with him. He insists what he has with Abby is real. Kyle talks about Summer leaving. He admits that he assumed she had sex before and needed a second to process. She tells him why she is waiting for sex with someone and what it has done to people and relationships. She likes being around him and if he asks about spending the weekend with him, she might say yes only if he remembers her stance on this; but wants to know where it leaves them.

Nate voices his concern about how Devon basically forgot about Shauna living there. He knows Devon is filling a void, which is normal when you lose someone you love. Devon returns to the living room, confronting them, admitting he was at the bar instead of the office and tonight he is going out all night, so they can talk to Neil and figure out who is going to take the next shift. He wants Ana to just be his sister, not his warden. Nate tells him to not go out with the people who don’t care about him, and sit with the ones who do and hear them out.

Arturo questions Mia about her marriage with Rey, she feels Rey is holding back and Arturo says all the energy she is wasting on him, she should be putting towards Rey. Abby walks in, calling herself the “Party crasher” and tells Mia “Byyyee!” and they both head to their table. Kyle is honest with Lola, understanding and will be right there, with no sex and okay. He is not going to give it up saying guys giving her up would be idiots and he is trying to be the guy she deserves.

Phyllis and Nick share their last moments with Summer when her car is downstairs. Both are proud of her, promising to be on the next flight if she needs them, but she feels that isn’t going to happen. She loves them, grabs her bags and heads out the door. Nick wraps his arm around Phyllis.

Ana wants to be there for Devon, saying she just wants to take him out for dinner. Devon wants to hang out with people who don’t want to ask questions; Nate confronts him on self medicating instead of getting help. Devon says Ana sounds just like them and they don’t get a say in his life. Nate worries they can’t drag him back up from where he is going. Devon isn’t going to make himself miserable to make them feel better about themselves and storms out of his penthouse.
