The Young And The Restless: Greg Rikaart Shares Good News

The Young and the Restless actor Greg Rikaart, also known for play Kevin Fisher on the soap, is finally feeling like his old self again. The actor took to social media and shared that he just got his vaccination.

Y&R Fans may recall that back in March 2020, the actor has started to experience COVID-19 symptoms. It all started when everyone in his house got a cough while his son had a fever. Everyone recovered from the illness except for Rikaart.

The Young And The Restless actor self-quarantined and he had a fever for 11 days, along with breathing difficulties. He turned to three doctors to get a proper diagnosis but they all refused. He found out later that month that he was COVID-19 positive after he got tested. The actor recovered but the feeling of exhaustion still lingered.

Now the actor is feeling much better than last year especially after getting a COVID-19 jab. In an Instagram photo where he can be seen holding his vaccination card, the actor said, “The long-covid issues I was having all but went away following my vaccination. I feel like myself again for the first time since last March. Science is the sh*t.”

Aside from that, the Y&R actor also shared a photo of himself outside the CBS Studios with the caption, “Happy to be Kevin’ing today.” It’s nice to see Rikaart feeling healthier and better after his health struggles during the past year.

Spoilers for April 21 reveal that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will admit to Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) that she’s in love with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Lauren won’t acknowledge her confession and believe that she’s just infatuated with Jack. However, Sally argues that her feelings are real. Sally creates a text message asking Jack if they can meet. But she deletes the text instead. What will Sally do to win Jack’s affection?

Meanwhile, the marriage of Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will go through a rough patch. Rey refuses to come home when Lola refused to believe him that it was Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) who tried to poison him. Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) learns about Rey’s marital problems and asks him if he’s ready to give up on his marriage. Rey may not admit it but Lola can sense that he’s not ready to throw in the towel.
