CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers and updates divulge that one fan fave super couple is on the chopping block but a decision to slice and dice has not yet been made. Is there anywhere to go with Chadam that hasn’t been done? They’ve been to Kansas, where else is there to go?
Ironically, the Kansas thing is actually what may have spelled doom for the couple. According to our inside source at CBS, rooting around in Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) past is suddenly a lot more appealing now that the hiatus has given writers almost free rein to switch up stories however they like.
And what they may like right now is a Chadam split and a new direction for Adam Newman and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan).

When we last saw these two schemers, Chelsea’s cunning background was running rampant. It was her who supported Adam in his quest for revenge against his dad Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). She surprised many fans with her backing of him as well as her pushing and prodding him to go full throttle.
What happened to reformed Chelsea? That girl may be gone.
If what we’re hearing is correct Chelsea could be about to get darker than she’s ever been and that scares Adam.

Adam must confront the fact that Victor really did protect him by covering up his past Kansas killing when he was just a kid. The evidence is there and he won’t be able to deny it forever.

Tired of all the switching and ditching want a more real Y&R like we use to have u don’t have to bring back every person that was on the show just write better storyline for the ones that are there
Adam and Chelsea with their son is a family why would you break them up . She stood by him now it’s his time . The show will lose a lot of viewers if they continue to switching couples up . Adam is not a good or bad man keep him that way .
Let Adam and Chelsea grow stronger and more loving . They have been through enough. They need to get custody of Christian and raise their boys together. We need one stable family let it be Adam and Chelsea.
Unfortunately, I think they’re planning on bringing in Sharon for him – Actress Sharon Case says Adam is the love of Sharon McAvoy’s life! So I think that’s a hint of what they’re going to be doing…

You are correct. Are you trying to see how many families you can break up now? First Sharon and Rey and now you’re after Adam, Chelsea, and Conner; how could you do this when they’re already having trouble with Conner? This kid needs a lot of help and you’re breaking up a loving family.

Ok Chelsea was right to mad about the kiss but to poison an Innocent man. Ray has blinders on when it comes to Adam. Since when does a police officer investigating his own crime ? Come on writers get real. Ray isn’t even looking at anyone else.
