The Young and the Restless spoilers and updates tease that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will face a lot of drama ahead. Melissa Ordway drops the hint that the pair’s much-awaited fairy tale ending is still nowhere in sight.

Fans may recall that Abby and Chance finally got reunited. However, the actress teased that the couple won’t just pick up where they left off back in January.

In an interview with JLJ media, the actress said, “I’m not sure if that’s how it’s going to go.”

“I think it’s going to be a lot more dramatic than, ‘Hey, you’re back. Cool! We’re in love again, we’re gonna raise this baby and it’s gonna be happily ever after,” she explained.

The actress also teased that someone will stand between Abby and Chance’s shot at happiness. And this person will be the couple’s sperm donor, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Sweeney hinted that there’s a lot of things happening with Devon. He’ll feel attached to the baby and Abby. Fans may recall that he’s developed a bond with Devon while Chance was out of the picture. Aside from that, the couple will also have their own struggles, and that includes dealing with Chance’s experience in Spain.

Ordway hinted that she and James have been “playing up” their chemistry for the past nine years. She teased that Devon is on the list of people she wants to date.
