The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Christel Khalil will be returning on Thursday, April 25 for Kristoff St. John’s farewell. She will appear in both the scripted sendoff that will retire the role of Neil Winters and the tribute airing on April 29. Here’s what we know about what’s ahead on Y&R.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lily Winters Returns Home For Neil’s Funeral?
It isn’t known how they will handle Lily’s prison sentence and Neil’s funeral. In some instances, prisons will give imamates a home pass to go to loved one’s funerals. We do know that Lily has been a model prisoner and she’s made the most of her time. It seems likely that she will come home to say goodbye to her dad.

As for how Neil dies, the Young and the Restless spoilers say it will be an accident. He will die suddenly and it will affect the whole town. Apparently, it will lead to other storylines, suggesting that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) may be hit pretty hard by his death.
Another reason Lily may want to return to Genoa City is to settle things between her and Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard). The Y&R spoilers suggest that she will be divorcing him, and her returning, may finalize it between them. Or, I could give the Lane fans hope for a reunion.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lily Was Last Seen In January
The last time Lily was shown on the soap opera was when Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) told her about Cane and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) kiss. While he did the right thing by letting her know, he did it to get back at Cane. He wanted to reunite with Victoria and Cane was in the way of that.

We need Lilly to come back strong and happy. She and Cane are a good match.
I like Lilly and Cane also but Christel has requested to be removed from even a recurring role, so a divorce is sure to happen . But on the bright side, it leaves the door open for her return.

Neil had moved close to Lily, so I wonder where the accident will happen? I surely do dread this. This funeral will be our time to really get hit between the eyes about Kristoff and mourn.

If she’s throwing away her career to shack up with her Canadian boyfriend in Canada, then it’s stupid to keep her on, you can only do so many prison scenes before it gets stupid! Besides, she’s going to be out of prison by September, so then what? I say fine, let Christel go be with her bf, and maybe bring back AMBER for Cane then… They were actually good together!
