The Young and the Restless News: Melissa Ordway Lands Exciting New Role

Good news for all Melissa Ordway fans. The actress, who’s also known as Abby Newman on “The Young and the Restless” will appear in an upcoming movie called “Another Mother.”

Ordway takes on the role of Sierra in the film that’s directed by Anthony C. Ferrante and penned by Scott Collette. Other cast members include Adam Huss, Alex McKenna, Juliana Dever, Joey Rae Blair, and Mike Erwin.

The Young and the Restless: Ordway’s Career

Ordway’s first acting role was with The CW’s “Privileged” where she appeared on a recurring role as Jordanna. Her first film was “17 Again” and later on starred on different television shows. These include “Entourage” and “How I Met Your Mother.”

She appeared in the movies like “The Last Song,” “Melrose Place,” “Tales of an Ancient Empire,” “Escapee,” and “Ted.” She landed the role of Abby Newman on “The Young and the Restless” in March 2013.

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers teased that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will be all over each other. The latter will spend a lot of time with Abby while plotting against Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

The soap’s promo also shows Abby saying “You’re gonna want to take off those clothes.” These two are bound to share steamy shower scenes as their relationship continues to heat up next week.

Y&R Spoilers: Maria And Tessa’s Relationship Goes Through A Rough Patch

Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) insecurities will continue to cause troubles in her relationship with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). Mariah’s been through a lot lately. She recently learned about Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) breast cancer diagnosis plus, she just lost her job at Power Communications. She’ll also suspect that Tessa is cheating on her with Tanner Watts (Chase Coleman) despite Tessa’s assurance that she’s the only one for her.

The pressure, stress, and problems will take a toll on Mariah and she’ll end up sleeping with Lindsay (Kirby Bliss Blanton). To make things worse, Tessa will catch both of them on the sofa and in a compromising position. She’ll be crushed and furious. Does this spell the end for “Teriah?” Or will they get past this ordeal? Tessa may forgive Mariah for her betrayal but it’ll be a long road before they get there.
