CBS The Young and the Restless star Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott) his wife, Paloma Jonas, and their two children Bowie and Rome enjoyed what looked like a picture-perfect family trip to Kings Canyon in California this past week. Here’s what he has to say.

The handsome actor shared several highlights from his trip and captioned his Instagram post with, “The best 4 VERY distanced days in Kings Canyon at our friends 100-year-old family shack. No one around. No power, no water, fire-cooked food, lakeside lunches, outdoor baths, nature walks, and family exploring. A perfect time to disconnect, reflect and reconnect with my loves. And let me take a second to give a shout out to all the continued work from our medical professionals and essential workers.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for his fans and social media followers to respond to his photos. Quite a few of them left comments such as, “I love old houses and cabins. That looks so beautiful and peaceful. I could smell the scent of pine. Lovely!” along with, “What a beautiful place! Looks like you enjoyed!”

Another fan wrote, “OMG!!! The good ole Canadian is certainly, coming out in your whole beautiful family!!!! Have some much fun!!!”

Y&R Spoilers – The Young And The Restless Returned To Filming

Others pointed out that it’s a good thing Jason is spending as much time as possible with his family now seeing how the cast and crew of The Young and the Restless will soon be back in the studio filming new episodes again. In fact, reports indicate that many of the stars of the hit soap have already gone back to the studio for Covid-19 testing.

Everything went as planned, and filming began on Monday, July 13th with new episodes expected to air by mid to late August. We will definitely update you with all of the latest details as they come in.
