Young & The Restless Spoilers – Lola Rosale’s Liver Transplant

The Young and The Restless’ Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) was in desperate need of a liver transplant. Lola’s doctors looked for months for a donor but no one had been a match. With Lola and Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) checked past together, everyone was surprised when Summer went to the hospital to be tested as a donor for Lola.

Of course, Summer’s true motive was to win Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Summer truly wanted to prove her love for Kyle by saving Lola. This is one of the most intriguing stories of the year because of the lengths Summer was willing to go to for the man she loved. This story was a fan favorite but not the best story of the year.

Y&R Spoilers – J.T. Hellstrom Alive

The Young And The Restless’ J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) was presumed dead after his attack on ex-wife Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). After Nick Newman (Josh Morrow) impersonated J.T. to terrorize Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is was revealed that J.T was truly alive and well.

J.T. had been watching the Newmans from the Abbott cabin. J.T.’s return saved Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) from going to prison for his murder. In the end, T.J. nearly killed the woman with a gas leak and ended up in the hospital. J.T.’s behavior was revealed to be caused by a brain tumor that was removed. J.T. still had to face the consequences of his actions toward Victor. This accounts for our number two story of the year.


Young & The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Returns

The Young and The Restless’ Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was presumed dead after an explosion at a masquerade ball. In May, Victor discovered Adam gambling in Las Vegas suffering from memory loss. Adam returned to Genoa City with Sharon but was shot as he tried to leave town.

Luckily, Adam survived and his memory returned. Adam’s return certainly caused issues for Nick and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Chelsea has chosen to leave Nick and move in with Adam and their son. Adam’s return with its twists and turns is our choice for The Young And The Restless Best Story of the Year.
