Nick’s willing forgiveness of how Chelsea wronged him and Christian Newman (as now played by Alex Wilson), when abandoning them in 2018, was an important factor in ‘Chick’s’ rebirth, as Chelsea appreciated what she put them through. Morrow’s character has been very understanding of Connor’s needs, which caused Chelsea to move into the penthouse. Restored trust has kept Nick and Chelsea together.

Y&R Spoilers – Connor Newman Driving Decisions

Connor was emotionally wrecked by all that’s happened this year. He was living happily with his mother, grandmother, Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach), and Calvin Boudreau (John Burke) in Louisiana. Then news broke that Adam wasn’t killed in the cabin explosion, as was believed back in September 2016.

Just the above would have been enough for a boy to wrap his mind around. But the positive news of his father’s survival was followed by Calvin’s sudden death, Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) faked death, and Adam’s choice to leave GC and return to Las Vegas, Nevada. This was far too much for Connor to handle and he soon collapsed internally.

Chelsea has been trying to console her son for months. She even reached out to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) for assistance before agreeing to Connor’s request that he live with his dad.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Won’t Relent

Adam holds tight to his convictions. He won’t stop thinking that all is off with his world until Chelsea concedes that they are the best versions of themselves (a cliche, for sure) when ‘Chadam’ is together.

It seemed unlikely that Connor would be living with Adam full-time as of a few months ago. Viewers recall that Chelsea didn’t even want her son to see his father as of last summer. Just as warp speed progress was made then, so too was the reality of Chelsea being in the penthouse for more than a drop-off of Connor a surprising development.

As is true on the other side of the screen, a lot is possible on Y&R. Not everything, except in dream sequences. But Chelsea and Adam being together again? Sure, why not? Although she could stay with Nick as well, much to Adam’s chagrin.
