The Young and The Restless Spoilers tease that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will make an important decision on an upcoming episode of The Young and The Restless!

Sharon Newman Has Found Something Suspicious

Other Y & R spoilers tease that Sharon may have found something suspicious, possibly a lump in one of her breasts. While Sharon has had her share of accidents and illness of the mental variety, having been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, she has never had to deal with the possibility of cancer. She decides to keep it a secret, and possibly may not even get it checked out right away to rule out the possibility of the lump being cancerous – which is the worst possible thing she can do!

She should go to the doctor right away! But she is fearful of the diagnosis, so she will delay going to a doctor – at least for the time being. Her daughter Faith Newman (Alyvia Allyn Lind) is home for the holidays, her relationship with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is back on track, and she just doesn’t want to rock the boat! She rationalizes that it may just be a cyst or some other kind of swelling and will wait at least a few days to see if it goes away.

Any woman is afraid when she finds a lump in her breast, not just because it could be breast cancer and it could kill her, but a mastectomy or even a lumpectomy is very disfiguring! A woman’s breasts are a substantial part of her beauty, and many women fear their partners will no longer find them desirable if their breasts are removed or operated on.

And the truth be told, there have been many shallow, immature, uncaring partners, more often of the male variety, who have left their already struggling wives and girlfriends because of it, when they should be loving and supporting them through their illness! Shame, shame on them! And it’s not only the fear of a mastectomy or a lumpectomy that causes women not to get medical attention right away – it’s chemotherapy, which more often than not makes a cancer patient’s hair fall out! If a woman’s breasts are her beauty then her hair is her glory, and the loss of either can be devastating emotionally and physically!

Other Y & R spoilers tease that Sharon will likely decide to get medical attention soon, but try to keep her illness a secret from family and friends, all of whom would rally around her and not leave her in her time of need, but those who are closest will be able to sense that something is bothering her. They will try to get her to talk about it, but she will tell them it’s something that she prefers not to talk about and handle on her own.

The Young and The Restless spoilers say that Sharon is heading for a major storyline that will affect her relationship with Rey and possibly threaten it, and bring a family member back to Genoa City. Faith is already home, and this may cause her to not return to boarding school but to stay, and Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) could be back to give his mother support as well.
