The Young And The Restless Preview Week of April 27: Nick OD’s, Noah & Sharon Rescue Derailed, Adam’s Bad News

The Young and the Restless’ preview for the week of April 27-May 1 has been dropped! Fans can expect to see Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) OD, while Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) are rescued.

Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has some bad news for someone. Find out more about next week’s drama, below.

Adam Newman Encourages Drug Use

The Young and the Restless’ promo for the week of April 27-May 1 opens with a scene of Nick and Adam in the car, at night. In the clip, Adam actually encourages Nick to take some pills, as his brother looks like a walking dumpster fire.

In the first scene of the preview, Adam tells Nick, “It’s obvious you need it, go ahead – do what you got to do.”

Adam’s logic isn’t that far off; if they want to rescue Sharon and Noah, they can’t deal with Nick’s withdrawal symptoms; however, it sounds like things are going to take a very bad turn with all this.

'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers Monday, April 27: Nick Overdoses During Rescue, Adam Takes Risk & Matt Watches It All

Matt Clark Sees All

As the scenes shift, Matt is shown in his car, and it’s nighttime as well. He’s looking at his phone, which has surveillance video of the warehouse he’s locked Noah and Sharon in.

Nick is on the floor, unconscious, seemingly convulsing, as Adam is tending to him, while Sharon and Noah are frantic, as they are chained and can’t help.

Matt is watching Nick overdose, and he says to himself, “Rich boy Newman finally hit on the bad batch … what a shame …”

Matt seems more like he’s gloating than concerned.

Adam Newman’s Bad News

As the Young and the Restless preview for the week of April 27 comes to a close, Adam walks into the hotel room and is greeted by Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Chelsea runs up to Adam and exclaims, “OMG! Thank God you’re okay,” as she hugs him.

She asks where Nick is, and Adam, who looks like he’s been crying, has an emotional pause, and then the video ends. Will Nick be okay?
