The Young And The Restless Preview Week Of May 11: Phyllis’ Newman Compromise, Nick’s Drug Stumble, Matt & Patty Flirt

The Young and the Restless’ preview for the week of May 11-15 has dropped! Fans can expect to see Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) make a “Newman Enterprises” compromise, while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) takes a step back where his drug rehab is concerned.

Plus, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) flirt. Find out more about next week’s drama, below.

Phyllis Summers Makes A Deal

The Young and the Restless’ promo for the week of May 11 opens up with Phyllis at the bottom of the stairs at the GCAC. She’s with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) as he states, “Am I hearing you correctly?”

Phyllis looks pretty smug as Michael goes on to say, “You’re going to make a deal to give up Newman Enterprise to avoid legal repercussions, right?” This is when Phyllis tells Michael, “No, I have something better in mind.”

It sounds like Phyllis may come up with a compromise of sorts, something where both she and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) can walk away from the “agreement” feeling good about things. But what will that be?

Will she tell Victor he can have Newman Enterprises back for Chancellor Industries? After all, thanks to Victor’s meddling, Summer’s Conglomerate is tanking. Still, Red won’t go down without a fight, so it’ll be interesting to see what Phyllis’s plan is.

Nick Newman’s Stumble

Over at the Ranch, Nick is in his parents’ living room, sitting on a chair, and he looks terribly upset. Nick says, “If you want to make an accusation, then come with it!”

This is when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) asks his brother outright if he’s using drugs again. Adam looks dead serious as he says this, so why would he think this?

Adam spent a lot of time with Nick in Las Vegas and can see the signs of his brother on painkillers. Has Nick stumbled so quickly since he’s decided to do rehab, or is Adam jumping to conclusions?

Flirting With Disaster

As the Young and the Restless promo comes to an end, the final clip is of Matt entering Crimson through the back doors. As he walks through, he and Patty almost graze shoulders.

Matt turns around, looks at Patty, smiles at her, while she intently (and seductively) grins back (as she slightly sucks on a coffee-stir straw.

Is this the beginning of a beautiful (and deadly) alliance? They didn’t speak a word in the promo, but the sparks were flying left, right, and center!
