The Young and The Restless RUMOR: New Y&R Love Triangle – Rey Has His Eye On Sharon, Nick Furious

The Young and the Restless rumors indicate that a new love triangle is on the horizon, which will involve Sharon (Sharon Case) along with Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Nick (Josh Morrow).

Longtime Y&R supercouple Nick and Sharon’s latest attempt at reconciliation was destroyed after Nick’s one night stand with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). After exposing Nick’s betrayal at the altar, Sharon called off their wedding and broke up with Nick.

Rey: You simmer down any?
Nick: I think I should be thanking you, I can’t force Sharon listen to me when she’s not ready.
Rey: Especially since you’ve been a first class jerk to her.
Nick: Well walking away is not an option.

Despite Sharon kicking him out of the house, Nick has vowed not to give up on them. He’s on a mission to win back Sharon’s heart, however he’s going to have to compete with Genoa City’s newest resident Rey.

After only being in town for a few months, Rey is already at the center of a big storyline as he investigates the disappearance of JT (Thad Luckinbill). Rey has become friends with Sharon in hopes of learning more about JT. The two are working closely at the police station and Sharon even let Rey move into the apartment above the coffeehouse.

The two are growing closer and it appears their friendship may take a romantic turn as Sharon leans on Rey for support. Yet, Nick isn’t going to be happy to see his ex with a new man.

With Nick having a newfound attitude, he’s not going to give up so easily when it comes to Sharon. He’ll pull out all the stops to win back her love. But will it be enough?

Nick screwed up big time and he’ll have a lot of work to do if he wants to get back into Sharon’s good graces. Even though she and Rey are heading towards building a relationship, Nick will always be her true love. She’ll have a difficult choice to make on whether to move on with Rey or give Nick a second chance.

As this new triangle heats up, fans are going to be torn about which man they want Sharon with. Are you Team Rey or Team Nick?
