The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates reveal aside from pastries, cookies, & brownies at Crimson Lights, it’s apparent that Society is the only place for GC residents on Y&R to dine…
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Other Restaurants On The Young & The Restless: MIA
The Genoa City Athletic Club, Top of the Tower, & the Colenade Room are all missing in action on Y&R.
Perhaps if any of these establishments were still open for business in Genoa City, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) & Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) wouldn’t have had a destination wedding in Tuscany.
Maybe if the GCAC or Top of the Tower were up & running, Y&R Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) & Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) could have had their engagement party a little more upscale. Nothing against Crimson Lights, of course. It serves a purpose & that purpose is a well-run coffeehouse that locals & tourists enjoy.
Y&R Spoilers – Celebrating? Spying? Scheming??… The Answer is Society on Y&R
Celebrating your husband’s retirement & his post-retirement job where he ends up getting held up in Peru by Ashland Locke?
Society…
Your boss/pending boyfriend is on board with your proposal to spy on another Genoa City elite in costume/undercover?…
Society…
If you know your spouse & business partner has been scheming you with a made-up cancer diagnosis & treatment & you’re ready to scheme back?…
Society…
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Also MIA: Lola The Head Chef Of Society In Genoa City On Y&R
Who does not miss Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle)?
The Young and The Restless late Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) younger sister arrived in Genoa City owning & operating a food truck. She then worked alongside Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) to open Society. Lola was hired on as Head Chef & worked her tail off to delight each restaurant guest until she moved back to Miami.
When Lola was Head Chef at Society, we saw her frequently. During her time on The Young & the Restless, she managed to make solid friendships, married & divorced Kyle Abbott, & remained at the forefront of the only dining experience available in GC.

We’ve heard Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor discuss Lola’s replacement on occasion, & we’ve seen her once. While it seems Lola’s replacement doesn’t measure up to Lola herself, the Genoa City elites continue to be loyal to Society.
Has The Man in the Purple Shirt replaced the consistency of seeing Lola at Society? We don’t know his name, but he does seem very attentive to all of the guests at Society. Heck, he even got on board with Billy Abbott’s Apple Juice Meltdown…
Like The Woman in the Green Dress that works at the Grand Phoenix, The Man in the Purple Shirt that works at Society seems equally accommodating to guests.
Perhaps we have a love interest opportunity on our hands, Y&R fans… These two key hospitality employees in Genoa City have business in common, are attractive, & seemingly single. Let’s get them together!
Be sure to catch up on everything happening with Y&R right now. Come back here often for Young and the Restless spoilers, news, and updates.

I think Lola was fabulous but I got the impression the people running the show didn't like HK/Summer being overshadowed.
I think Victoria and Nikki crapping on Adam and Victor letting them is so old and boring. I hope Nick will at least stand up and say what the heck, Adam is trying to be a better man and you're shooting him down, pushing him backwards. Nick owes it to Adam, he saved Faith's life. I don't think Nikki is much of a grandmother, because mine and most would have been eternally grateful to Adam for all he did for her granddaughter. Next you writers will be trying to make Nikki out to be wonderful but how she treats Adam I'm not buying it.
