The Young And The Restless Spoilers: 3 Reasons Why Lily And Billy Would Make A Hot Couple

CBS The Young and the Restless fans see it, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) sees it, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) sees it, and soon enough everyone in Genoa City, Wisconsin is going to see it, too. It might seem obvious for some, but little by little Lily and Billy are beginning to realize that they share more than a common goal to make JC Communications as successful as possible. That’s because these two are about to get just as close personally as they are professional. With that said, here are five reasons why Lily and Billy would make a hot couple.

#1 Billy Abbott And Lily Winters Are Two Attractive Professionals With Lots Of Chemistry Between Them

Let’s face it: there probably isn’t a hotter couple in Genoa City right now than Billy and Lily, and both of them are clearly attracted to one another. It’s only going to be a matter of time before they jump all over each other and forget that they have a job to do for Billy’s mother. But then again, a little office romance never hurt anybody, right?

#2 Billy AbCan Make Lily Winters Forget About Her Past

Yes, Lily is back in Genoa City and stronger and better than ever before. But before she left, she dealt with one heartache and blow after another, as she spent time behind bars for killing Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) in their car crash. If that weren’t enough, she also decided to pull the plug on her marriage to Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) while she was in jail, too. Clearly, Lily is looking for a fresh start in her life and while some would agree that Billy might not be the best candidate for the job, he is also someone who is helping her forget about her past.

#3 Lily Winters Might Be The One Woman In Genoa City That Can ‘Fix’ Billy Abbott

Speaking of people who need to forget about their past, the same can be said about Billy Abbott. His life and his mental health have both been turned upside down with Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) homecoming, as he is being forced to deal with the demons of his past.

If that weren’t enough, he and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) keep flip-flopping about their own situation and status but ultimately deciding that it would be best to just live separate lives. However, if Victoria couldn’t “fix” Billy, is there a chance that Lily can do it? Watch this space as we have a feeling that there is so much more to come!

If a Billy and Lilly romance can get this poor character/actor off the Adam revenge broken overplayed record episodes that are now so boring to watch I'm all for it.

To be honest I am really sick of the hypocrisy storylines with the loosely written lip service dialogue the give characters to speak to justify their extreme, nasty behavior. What message does that give to impressionable viewers. We have had both Chloe and Billy justify multiple premeditated attempts to kill Adam, whilst Adam's actions have been caused by mistakes or whilst protecting his mom and Chance from violent people.

Now we have Devon unable to acknowledge what he did to Neil with Hilary was far worse than what Elana has done. He is taking no responsibility for the hurt and confusion he caused Elana fawning over useless lawyer Amanda because he discovered she was related to his dead wife who didn't have much past information to have passed to Devon anyway! Why not have Devon do the decent thing and own he is being so hard on Elana because what he really wants is to get the woman with his dead wife's face in bed.

These characters who are constantly given these selfish, double standard and melicious attitudes invariably always end up a less enjoyable character. Phyllis is a perfect example and even Nick is not as enjoyable or as popular as he once was because of egotistical storylines.

No way. What would we call them? Chelsea and Adam = Chadam, Sharon and Nick = Shick, Phyllis and Nick = Phick, Devon and Elena = Elevon, but Billy and Lily? Blily? Libilly? Doesn't work. My 2 cents.

Why not? They have chemistry, are a great looking couple….let's give them a chance.
