The Young And The Restless Spoilers: A Voice From The Great Beyond? – Phyllis Reaches Out To Amanda

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) could think she’s being haunted by a voice from the great beyond. The “undead” Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) could reach out to her friend, knowing she’s going to need some serious legal assistance.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Fought Back

Phyllis realized she’d made a huge mistake and got in way over her head by throwing in with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) to get revenge on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). The unpleasant truth really hit home when she snuck out in a disguise and attended her own funeral, where she saw firsthand her children’s devastation and grief.  She also saw firsthand how much her daughter, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and son, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) loved her and she realized she was no better than Diane.

Phyllis realized she was putting her adult children through the same grief and confusion as Diane had her and Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) as a child. And she refused to let it go on any longer and decided to renege on hers and Stark’s deal, but instead wound up in a deadly struggle with him-he lost!

Y & R Spoilers – Consequences

Phyllis knows there could be consequences to her actions, she could be charged with fraud and worse, now that she’s killed Stark-but what else could she do? She just hopes it’s a good long while before his body is found and she knew enough to wipe her fingerprints off the scissors and dispose of any evidence, including him. She muses that maybe the world will think she’s done them a favor, or she could play the victim and just tell the truth and beg for mercy. On the other hand, she was stupid to fall for Stark’s con game and he’s got her money, she can’t use that passport and fake identity to live as a fugitive. Stark trying to kill her and her fighting back with fatal results for him is the truth and probably her best defense-her being just another of his victims believable.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Michael Baldwin’s Hands Tied

The case against Diane is pretty much front page news, and when Phyllis reads about it she knows Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) hands are tied. Even if she did reach out to her old friend with her tale of terror, he can’t represent her – he’s representing Diane! Ultimately, she may have to reach out to Amanda, even though it’s a dicey defense even for the winning defense attorney.

However, focusing on Phyllis as the victim of Stark and not his willing partner may cause a jury to be more sympathetic. It’s just that pesky body of his and that Phyllis disposed of or hid it that would be problematic.
