Tucker suddenly showed up at Kyle and Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Michael Mealor, Allison Lanier) vow renewal, blowing everyone away both with his appearance and his helicopter landing. He hadn’t been seen in a long time, supposedly having gone off the grid in an ashram in Thailand, suffering from a strange condition called electromagnetic heightening, causing distrust of technology. Yet he seems to be keeping up with technology these days, scanning the Internet for all news Abbott, Newman and Chancellor, or he wouldn’t have known about the vow renewal.

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) questioned if Tucker came back because he’d found out about Dominic, his biological grandson through Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) sperm donation. Others wondered if he was there because of hearing about the Chancellor-Winters IPO, also known as initial public offering of stocks and shares.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers –  Married To Ashley Abbott, Briefly

Tucker was married to Abby’s mother, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) very briefly, after having been run over by a young Abby with her mother in the passenger seat. He nearly died, suffering massive head trauma resulting in a coma, and although he had a do not resuscitate order in place, his mother Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) overrode it.  He eventually made peace with Abby, who was also hospitalized at the time, and left Genoa City shortly before Katherine’s death, having found proof that Devon was his son. Tucker was the one who helped Devon regain his ability to hear and they bonded over their love of music.

Y&R Spoilers – A Shocking Encounter

Abby and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) hadn’t been able to attend Kyle and Summer’s vow renewal because Dominic had been sick. Ashley wasn’t there either, and perhaps Jack and Traci Abbott (Peter Bergman, Beth Maitland) hadn’t wanted to disturb Abby and Ashley with news of Tucker’s return. No doubt Jack will get around to it, because he told Tucker Ashley wasn’t at the vow renewal if that’s why he was there, the two men historically have been enemies.

But Tucker undoubtedly will want to meet his biological grandson and spend time with him, and Abby is blindsided when he shows up at the Chancellor mansion. What’s worse, Chance isn’t home when Tucker shows up, and Abby’s not sure if she feels safe; who told him Dominic is his grandson, Devon?
