Phyllis Newman Follows Cane Ashby To Las Vegas And Tracks Down Adam Newman
As viewers will recall from last week, Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) eavesdropped on a phone call Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) made and found out he was headed to Las Vegas. She will beat him there and he will be surprised to find her there. His first stop was to find Adam, and she admits that she overheard him on the phone booking his flight and was curious as to what it was all about and followed him. She knows he’s trying to find Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll) but he won’t tell her why, and leaves. However, she beats Cane to the punch yet again when she finds Adam before he does!
Phyllis Newman Finds Adam Newman At A Poker Table
In Tuesday’s episode, Phyllis tracks down Adam and finds him at a poker table, playing under the name “Spider”. She will ask to be dealt in, but as shown in the Y & R weekly spoilers video, she will tell him that they are NOT playing for money in no uncertain terms! They appear to be alone at the poker table and she may play him for information on Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll) and his whereabouts, and why Cane might be looking for Chance too. Other Y & R spoilers tease that Cane gets in trouble and beat up by an unknown person, so that could stem from Phyllis giving Adam too much information as she tries to get information out of him!
Why Does Phyllis Newman Want This Information To Begin With?
Y & R viewers might be asking why Phyllis wants to know why Cane is looking for Chance and why she is trying to get information out of Adam in the first place; that is a simple one word answer; leverage. Phyllis knows that Adam can be dangerous and he trusts her with his secrets.
She may not know a lot about the challenge to Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper)will in detail, but she knows since Cane is looking for Chance and Chance and Adam were doing something together in Las Vegas before he came back to Genoa City, then she needs to find out where Chance is because it smells fishy! She had talked to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) prior to flying out, and she didn’t even know where Chance was or how to contact him either! Phyllis, too is suspicious as to why a Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) lookalike is handling the case!

It Sounds Like Phyllis Newman Will Bet Adam Newman To Spill Some Beans About What He Knows!
It sounds like Phyllis will bet Adam at the poker table to spill some beans about what he knows about Chance and his whereabouts, and Adam’s suspected involvement in the will challenge scam. Adam will be backed to the wall when he figures that he will be the winner in this poker game and then Phyllis beats him! He will have no choice but to spill what he knows, possibly at the threat of Phyllis exposing some other crimes of Adam’s she knows about!

This show is getting boring. Repeat, repeat, repeat. And does Phyliss get on her broomstick to fly to Vegas so quickly? She was at the Grand Phoenix one minute and the next in Vegas. How fake is this? I do not like this Phyliss and she has to be the noseist human ever.
Phyllis and Adam need to go
I think Phyllis just needs to leave Adam alone and go back to GC where she can cause
more problems. I find that weird how she can be in two places at once? maybe there’s
a twin out there somewhere haha
I have to say I quite liked all the unliked actors getting together today. No fan of old/new Phyllis, don’t mind new Adam but hate his heritage of the neverending family/Victor feud and Cane, poor boring love Lilly, family guy! Today I thought the 3 together showed the most promising story these writers have come up with! Bold move, I like it! Who dares wins, I for one will keep an open mind.
The most boring story line is Theo, Summer and would love to see them both exit. Leave Lola and Kyle alone for a while but develop their life a bit. They just work and go home.
Cant really figure the Devon, Cane will story nor Amanda, Chance. Is Adam portraying Chance? Speed it up and dump Phyllis getting involved with Adam, Cane, Chance. Why can’t she butt out? And her botoxed lips are too much. Liked GINA much better.
I am so sick and tired of Phyllis running all over town leveraging all she doesn’t know and bullying to get the info she wants for the leverage over the Newman’s ! Is Adam really that stupid that he would trust her with intimate knowledge..remember she was one that turned states evidence to get the immunity deal over the supposed death of JT, she was one who bullied the ladies into not calling police and rolling him in a carpet and bury him in the park then pretended she was so dumb about how the law works and Christine tricked her that is laughable. Her own daughter told her to her face she is only in anything for herself she doesn’t give a damn about anyone she is out for number 1 Phyllis! I want her gone she’s boring and thuggish and serves no real purpose ! Sick to death of her!
Seems to me that Phyllis has no real purpose on Y&R but to get into everyone’s business. She is just a floater.
