The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam & Chloe Explosion – Neil Reconciles With His Mother – Victor Faces Accusations

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 7, tease that viewers will see an episode of Y&R that originally aired on September 1, 2016. In the episode, Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) will talk with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) at the GCAC bar. Lily will wonder whether Devon has heard from Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), and Devon will say that he hasn’t. Lily and Devon will talk about Neil’s past with his parents, which they don’t know much about.

Lily will be surprised that Devon has such little interest in their family history, given how different his life would have been if he had never known about Tucker McCall (Stephen Nichols) or Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). Devon will say that he was glad to know his biological father and that he is grateful for his time with Katherine, but that he doesn’t think that Neil’s history had been so happy. Lily will think that there’s bound to be love there.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers  – Neil Winters Visits His Dying Mother

Next on Y&R, at the assisted-living facility, Lucinda Winters (Nichelle Nichols) will call out to Neil, and Neil will say that he has talked to Lucinda’s doctors and that she isn’t doing well. Lucinda will call the doctors fools, and she’ll ask Neil to come closer. Lucinda will say that Neil has grown into a fine man and that she’s kept up with him through the years. Neil will wonder why she bothered doing that when she’d made it clear that she never wanted to be a part of his life.

Lucinda will say that she loves Neil very much, and that she tried to reach out over the years, but that he never answered her letters. Neil will say that Lucinda had cheated on his father and walked away from them, but Lucinda will say that she had no choice but to leave. Neil will insist that everyone has a choice in life, but Lucinda will say that Neil doesn’t understand. Neil won’t think that just because her marriage to his father was over that she had to stop being his mother.

Y&R Spoilers – Neil Winters Are Shattered To Learn Why His Mother Abandoned Him

Neil will gripe about how he apparently didn’t even factor into her thinking, but Lucinda will say that she was in no condition to be a mother to him. After some back-and-forth, Lucinda will tell Neil that he needs to shut his mouth and listen. Neil will quiet down a bit and Lucinda will explain that she walked away because it was safer for Neil. Lucinda will say that she was an alcoholic, and Neil’s eyes will fill with tears and he’ll bury his face in his hands.

Lucinda will say that she wished to be a part of Neil’s life after she got clean, but Neil’s father had made it difficult for her. Crying, Neil will tell Lucinda that he’s an alcoholic too and that he forgives her and wishes he had known the truth. Lucinda will say that she regrets all the pain she caused Neil and that she wouldn’t have done things differently, since she wouldn’t have wanted Neil to grow up with a drunk as a mother.

Lucinda will say that she made the right decision based on the man Neil had become and that she is proud of the way he turned out. Crying, Neil will take Lucinda’s hand, and he’ll offer to visit her again next week. Lucinda will say that Neil doesn’t owe her anytime, but she’ll want him to stay with her. Neil will agree, and he and Lucinda will hug.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers -Chelsea Lawson & Adam Newman Are The Subject Of A Manhunt

Next on Y&R, at the police station, Dylan McEvoy (Steve Burton) will have a press conference announcing that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is aiding and abetting Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) and that she has fled Genoa City. Dylan will ask the public to contact the police with any information.

Later, Dylan will lament that they’re not getting more calls, and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) will acknowledge that it is frustrating. Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will ask about how the investigation is going, and Dylan will say that they found Chelsea’s car at the impound. Christine will think that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) must have coordinated the escape, and Dylan will suggest that they try to talk with Victor again. Christine will have another idea.

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Angrily Points Fingers At Victor Newman

At the Newman ranch, Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will watch the press conference on TV, with Victor complaining about how Dylan has just sealed Adam’s fate. Soon, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will arrive, and he’ll try to convince Victor to convince Adam to turn himself in. Victor won’t appreciate this, and Jack will bellow that Victor has put Adam and his family in danger. Jack will even say that he’s been more of a father to Adam than Victor has!

Victor and Jack will bicker, and then Christine and Paul will show up to talk with Victor and Nikki. Christine will offer Victor a deal since she knows that he broke Adam out. Christine will offer not to charge Chelsea with anything if Victor reveals where Adam and Chelsea are, and she’ll say that Adam will only serve time for assaulting the guard. Victor will balk, saying that they won’t get anything out of him. Paul and Christine will leave.

Jack will do more griping, telling Nikki that she shouldn’t let Victor rob her of her integrity. Nikki will fire back that Jack shouldn’t judge her or her marriage. Jack will say that whatever happens is on Nikki and Victor, and he’ll leave in a huff. Victor will assure Nikki that everything will be ok and that Paul and Christine had been there because they didn’t have anything real on him.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Christine Williams & Paul Williams Get A Sweet Surprise

At the GCAC, Christine and Paul will have dinner, and Paul will tell Christine that he feels lucky to have her and he’ll kiss her hand. Soon Lily will come by and ask how their dinner was, and Paul will say that they just need their check. Lily will say that a woman across the room took care of their bill and that the woman said that Paul and Christine reminded her of herself and her late husband.

At the penthouse, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will come by to see Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and to say goodbye. Kevin will explain that he is staying in the penthouse – just staying on the couch to help Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to get through things right now. Daniel will tell Kevin to be careful with Chloe. Soon, Bella Fisher (Martie Blair) will cry over the baby monitor, and Kevin will go upstairs to get her. Daniel will take off after wishing Kevin good luck with Chloe.

Y&R Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson & Adam Newman Make A Getaway Plan

Next on Y&R, at the cabin, Chelsea will say that she won’t let Adam turn himself in. Adam will insist that Connor Newman (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) needs to see a doctor for his fever and that he needs to surrender. Chelsea will think that she and Connor can go to the ER with their new fake IDs, but Adam will say that the cops will be looking for them.

Chelsea will say that even if the police caught her, she’ll lie and say that she never found Adam. Chelsea will swear that she’ll never stop fighting for him and for them, and Adam will say that he won’t either. Adam and Chelsea will kiss, and he’ll say that she’s right. They’ll get Connor ready to go, and Chelsea will say that everything will be ok. Shortly after leaving, Chelsea will discover that an Amber alert has been issued for her and Connor.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Gets A Call From Chelsea Lawson

Over at Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Dylan’s place, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will gripe to Sharon about Dylan’s press conference. Sharon will argue that Dylan doesn’t have a choice in what to do now. Dylan will arrive and Nick will grump at him, prompting Dylan to say that he has a job to do. Nick will say that if Adam and Chelsea are caught, then who will raise Connor. “Victor,” Dylan will realize. Sharon will wonder if that’s been Victor’s plan all along.

Dylan will doubt it, and after debating Victor’s innocence and motives some more, Sharon will say that they need to stop obsessing about Victor before it ruins their lives. Soon, Chelsea will call Nick from a motel begging for his help. Nick will take off, and soon Dylan will get a call saying that Chelsea’s car has been spotted.

Nick will show up at a motel where Chelsea and Connor are, and he’ll arrange for a doctor to see Connor. Chelsea will be grateful to Nick, and Nick will say that he hopes that Chelsea, Connor, and Adam have a happy and safe life. Nick will offer to go to the cabin with Chelsea, and Chelsea will leave a voicemail for Adam saying that Nick is coming also.

Y&R Spoilers – Chloe Mitchell Shows Up At The Cabin To Kill Adam Newman

Next on Y&R, Adam will be in the cabin alone when Chloe walks in the door and shoots him with a tranquilizer dart. Chloe will tell a fuzzy Adam to relax, and that it will take about 5 minutes for the drug to take effect completely. Adam will ask how Chloe found him, and she’ll explain that she figured out that Chelsea had been going to meet him. Chloe will say that she wants Chelsea and Connor to start a new life, but not Adam.

Chloe will say that she doesn’t want Adam to just get to walk away again. Adam will realize that Chloe worked with Victor to set him up, and Chloe will admit that it’s true. Adam will get drowsy, and he’ll ask what Chloe’s plan is. Chloe will say that she intends to watch him die.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson & Nick Newman Are Stunned When The Cabin Explodes

Later, Nick, Chelsea, and Connor will pull up to the cabin in Nick’s car. Chelsea will ask Nick to stay in the car, and she’ll get out of the car and head toward the cabin, but the cabin will suddenly explode. Nick will call out for Chelsea as she’s thrown back from the explosion.
