The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Adam Covers His Tracks, Wipes Laptop Of Evidence And Prepares To Disappear

The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that after in Genoa City, Wisconsin Adam Newman aka Adam Wilson (Mark Grossman) leaves the Newman Towers property after Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) takes a bullet for him, he will wipe his laptop of any evidence and prepare to disappear!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Set A Bomb At The Newman Towers

Adam set a bomb at the Newman Towers, intending to blow up the CEO office while Victor, Victoria, and Nick Newman (Eric Braeden, Amelia Heinle, Joshua Morrow) are waiting for him to show up to a family meeting. Victoria had hatched a plot to put both Adam and Victor in their place, intending to trick Adam (Mark Grossman) into signing away his inheritance and any rights to Newman Enterprises. At the same time, she intended to get back at her father for favoring Adam all these years instead of cutting him out of the family himself.

There may have been more than one bomb set, but the CEO office was definitely targeted. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is still missing after Adam either kidnapped her or had someone else do it. It is still unknown exactly where that little room was, although it appeared to be more of a seedy hotel room than a storage room in the Newman Towers!

Someone pointed a gun at Adam just as he was preparing to set the bomb off with a cell phone, and Chance, who had been tailing him, spotted a gun trained on him and took the bullet! Now it’s time for Adam to “get out of Dodge”!

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Wipes His Laptop

Adam likely disabled any security cameras in the Newman Towers that could have taken footage of him either setting the bombs in the building or standing outside. He knew he could not leave any kind of evidence of his deadly plans, since he would be incriminating himself. Now that Chance has seen him, even though he’s down, Adam has to run!

Chelsea also could cite the plans she saw on his laptop, but she’s not going to be able to if Adam’s plans for her work. All he can do now is run, and disappear. He can’t go to Kansas, that is the first place law enforcement would look for him! He can’t go to Las Vegas, eyes would be on him there too! He may have to take steps to change his identity further than just changing his name back to Adam Wilson, he may even have to fake his death!

It’s not like he hasn’t done it before. He has faked his death at least once before, but it was easier the last time – he’s not sure he wants to drive his car off a cliff, but he could set it on fire. He knows how to build a bomb, and he could set a small one in his car and leave his identification in it..maybe even his laptop. He would have to make sure the forensic evidence shows he was in the car without totally destroying it. Whatever he decides to do, he’s going to have to do it quickly!
