However, by the time he does, Sally might already be over him.

Y&R spoilers reveal that Adam came up with a plan to protect Sally’s job at Newman Media. Adam decided that it would be best if he broke up with Sally, thinking that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wouldn’t fire her. Adam set his plan in motion by telling Victoria and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about the breakup before Sally even knew.

However, no matter how much Sally begged, Adam didn’t give in. Adam was being torn apart by Sally’s pain, but he still seems to think he’s doing the right thing.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Sally told Nick that she was turning in her notice. However, Nick was dealing with Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death at the time. Nick bluntly told Sally that she’s been given a great opportunity to prove herself. Nick suggested that Sally not let Adam ruin things just as he had for all the other women that came before her.

Then, Sally talked to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) about it. Chloe has never been an Adam fan and remembers what Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) went through. After talking to Chloe, Sally decided to throw herself into work.

By the time Adam comes to his sense and tries to fix things, it might be too late. Adam could make an emotional plea, give a heartfelt apology and try to explain. However, by the time Adam does that, Sally could already be over him. Adam fixing the mess he made with his relationship just might come too late.

Adam deeply wounded Sally with his cruel words. So, Adam is going to have to give more than an apology to fix things with Sally. If Sally just happens to move on with someone else, that adds another soap layer to this complicated situation.
