The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Adam Risks It All To Keep Victor Out Of Cane’s Trap

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is in a race against time to save his dad Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) who is in Nice.

Cane Ashby was Aristotle Dumas

By now fans know that Aristotle Dumas is Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). Cane talked privately to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) before revealing himself to the crew. His boo Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) brought her to Dumas, where she freaked out.

Does Cane have a shot at getting back with his ex? Not if her reaction was any indication. Plus she has hunky Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) on speed dial. Next she tells Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Damian that Dumas is Cane.

Lily is Livid

When Cane is exposed half of GC’s citizens are there to see him. Amanda was always in on the joke, so she was not surprised but she did tell him to be careful with Victor and not to underestimate him.

Cane is not impressed and vows that he, like Victor, is important and he will not back down from him. It kind of makes you wonder if he has a plot going against Victor.

Which brings us to Adam. Adam is in cahoots with his dad when it comes to business and he is forever trying to impress him.

Adam makes a dramatic entrance in Nice, and tells Victor that there is something he must know about Cane. If you remember, Victor figured out that Cane was Dumas, but didn’t tell anyone.

We’re not sure why Adam couldn’t have phoned or texted Victor, but here he is. And he is quite adamant about the info he has on Cane.

Will Adam Save Victor?

The GC crew were sus about going to see Dumas and wondered if they were walking into a trap. They may have, just not for the reason they thought.

Think about it: Cane has GC’s power players in one place, where he is controlling them. This would be the perfect scenario for Cane to make some dirty moves.

Maybe he takes back Chancellor or goes in on Newman Media or Newman Enterprises while the owners are in front of him and they are cut off from the world—do you think he planned this all along?
