The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Adam Suffering From Undiagnosed Condition – Diagnosis Explains Wild Behavior?

The Young And The Restless: Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)The Young and the Restless spoilers document that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) wild behavior has gone beyond the explainable. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) shouldn’t be sought as the definitive source in this instance, but it appears obvious that Adam is in the midst of a nervous breakdown, or is being impacted by some other undiagnosed condition.

Adam (Mark Grossman) isn’t sleeping, rarely appears to eat, has a bad hair day rather often, thinks everyone has turned against him and is developing kooky schemes that could surely land him in jail. So, will he be able to get the care he needs, or could Y&R’s writing staff explain this away as Adam being Adam one more time?

The Young And The Restless Spoiler Insights

Adam simply doesn’t care about his outward appearance because his internal problems are blinding him to the intentionally skewed reality of his life. The Kansas reveal may simply part of the mix, rather the cause of Adam’s fierce, ongoing response that blinds him to reality.

And yes, the use of the word blinds was a reference all hardcore Y&R fans understand. For newer viewers, Adam’s mother, Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman), was blind and the genetic trait she passed along to Adam eventually impacted his sight.

Just as the blindness issue came to light, so too can whatever the issue is that is causing Adam to act outrageously and so recklessly, particularly where Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and the Newman family is concerned, be identified and then addressed.

Brain Tumor, Or Other Health Crisis

A tumor pressing against a certain area of Adam’s brain could be presented as the reason why he’s been acting out lately. Of course some other health crisis, that’s been affecting his decision-making abilities, can be created as the explanation for Chadam’s sudden ending, and the bizarre need to blame Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for everything that doesn’t go his way in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

If the viewers see one of these speculative scenarios play out, or the nervous breakdown explanation offered, then Adam will gain sympathy. Grossman will also be able to begin what would be a redemption arc.

How Long Can Villain Go On?

Someone could be a villain in the soap world for decades. Just ask Braeden, whose character has generally been that for the past forty years. However, Y&R also created significant complexity within Victor’s full arc and backstory, which Braeden has superbly fleshed out.

Grossman’s acting chops have proven solid. He’s taken the latest version of this recast in an already memorable direction and should be given the opportunity to rebuild the human that’s inside of this legacy character.

Adam has always been treated like an outcast. Victor love and acknowledge all his kids, including Abbey, even after what her mother did to have her. Not so much Abbey but Nick and Victoria are heartless when it comes to Adam. Adam is the only heir that did not get his inheritance, after Abbey, the one that started it, Nick and Victoria sued Victor For theirs. Adam has not said anything about that. He is entitled to the same amount as the others.
Victoria is her father's daughter so let her go all the way with taking the hotel from Phyllis. What is the purpose of having her around besides, hanging around the hotel lobby and going upstairs with Nick? She can do whatever she wants and is redeemed afterwards. Look what she did to Abbey and Nick is still with her and knows what she did. He is such a traitor but no one notice that. Adam does not stand a chance with everyone being against him. Time to give him a break and do not let Chelsea turn her back against him. He could very easily be suffering and in need of treatment but, since everyone is against him and always think the worst, it could go un noticed.

Please let an illness be Adam's problem. He never intentionally killed Delia, yes he covered it up but given his childhood truma and Victor's bad example. Billy and Chloe have actually tried to kill him how many times. I would like to see Sharon reach out a get him to see someone professionally. He was the only one out of that selfish bunch that cared enough to help her, so I would really like to see Sharon return the favor.
