The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) feels tremendous guilt over not repairing his relationship with Keemo Abbott (formerly Philip Moon). Now it’s too late but there’s a piece of Keemo left behind. That is Keemo’s daughter, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang). Jack thinks Allie can be his redemption, Bergman shared in an interview.

Y&R spoilers reveal that Jack always hoped that he could repair his relationship with Keemo. Despite many years going by, the father and son never spoke again. So, Jack was devastated when he learned of Keemo’s death. It was too late for Jack to fix the relationship but he wanted to find out about Keemo’s life. Plus, Jack was perplexed by those mysterious text messages.

Before Jack and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) returned to Genoa City, they met Allie. It appears that Allie really didn’t know about Jack. Phyllis did notice that Allie mentioned Genoa City when they never told her where they were from. Jack assumed that Allie must have found out another way. Perhaps she did a quick web search on Jack and found the information there.

While Allie wasn’t too eager to develop a relationship with Jack, the lines of communication were left open. Allie was willing to meet for coffee the next time Jack was in Los Angeles. Jack knows that Allie isn’t ready to jump into a relationship with her grandfather. So, Jack wants to be patient and give the graduate student some time to process everything.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that the story will take more interesting turns, though. Allie is stalked by a stranger when she falls asleep in Keemo’s house after Jack leaves. Over in Genoa City, Jack starts receiving more mysterious text messages, which are not from Allie. There is also a dangerous trap that is set for Jack.

Y&R Spoilers – Desperate For Redemption

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Bergman explained that Jack sees Allie as a source of possible redemption.

“Through the years, Jack has evolved into the patriarchal role, the person the Abbotts can depend on but his rift with Keemo is an argument against all of that. He really dropped the ball thinking that Keemo would eventually come around and work things out but Jack waited too long and it’s too late now, but Allie is maybe an answer to that. With her, there could be a source of redemption for Jack and he can fix this.”
