She will soon come back to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for answers to those questions. However, Adam’s answers may mean that may determine if she stays loyal to him or they will shift to someone else. Will he give her the answers that she needs?

Alyssa has been a key part of Adam’s plans to take down Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and to the CEO position at Newman Enterprise. However, she could also be the key to taking him down as well. At the moment she does not feel like she would need to since they are on the same side.

She did fill him in on what she learned as well as giving him the evidence thinking that her childhood friend would publish the story for her but after not hearing anything from him for a while and not seeing the article published, she will grow tired of not hearing anything and will approach him about it.

It does make sense for Alyssa to be upset about this as she has put in so much work trying to get the information that she would need to prove that Victor killed her father. So, after seeing that the article had not been published, she will want to know why he had her do all that work if he was not going to publish the article. At first, Adam and Chelsea are able to talk her down as they are just checking the facts to make sure that they were getting the facts right.

Alyssa being as bright as she is will only be reassured but so many times before she realizes that she is being played. Adam is in charge of Newman right now it will only take her a little while before she will put two and two together before she realizes that something is not right.

Could Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) hunt the journalist down and have a talk with her about what happened between her and Adam? If so this could mean that Victoria will get Alyssa on her side which will help them beat Adam. It would make sense as Alyssa will feel betrayed by childhood friend and this would explain how Victor will win at the end.

It seems that Victoria and Victor will find help in an unlikely place as Adam learns that using people only gets you but so far. What do you think? Will Alyssa help Victoria and Victor?
