They have charged Amanda’s grandfather, Sutton Ames, with murder. Amanda has been asked to take the case. Even without opening up the case file, it’s clear this is a conflict of interest. However, Amanda didn’t say no.

Imagine her surprise to find her grandfather, who is also the man she’s been asked to defend.
