The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Amanda Familiar With Most Likely Suspects In Richard’s Death

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) continues to be surprised as she digs toward the answer that lies within her father’s grave. Although that assumes Richard Nealon’s (no actor’s name known for this retrospective role) remains are buried, he wasn’t cremated, and isn’t alive.

Richard is said to be the biological father of Amanda and her late, twin sister, Hilary Hamilton (Morgan). His death in a car accident wasn’t challenged until recently, when Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) was accused of having Richard killed in order to erase a political blackmail threat that is linked to Newman Enterprises.

However, Amanda’s grandfather is not the only person she knows or is aware of that had a motive to have Richard killed.

Why would Sutton be adamantly opposed to Amanda using the information she’s gained about Richard searching for her as part of his defense?

Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) and her younger daughter, through Eric Benedict (no actor known to be cast for this role), Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose), believe Sutton is simply protecting his family. Amanda doesn’t see the logic in those answers and pressed Sutton on it. He fired her as his lead attorney in response.

Sutton doesn’t deny wanting Richard and the twins he and Naya were expecting to be cut from his life at the time. But this storyline could go either way, as the feel of whether Sutton is implicated in what could be a murder is fluid.

Y&R Spoilers – Naya Benedict Remains Conflicted

Naya did as her father wanted her to do. She gave Hilary to her cousin, Rose Turner (Leslie Stevens), put Amanda into the foster care system, and didn’t look back.

It could be that Naya is cold. She abandoned her children, but also acted on her own in getting rid of Richard as well. Maybe Sutton is protecting Naya, which is why he wouldn’t want Richard’s search for Amanda to be entered into evidence?

Amanda’s determination that Naya had a phone conversation with Richard, after the point in time where Storey’s character previously said that she wasn’t in touch with him, means something. But what is it?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Benedict Angle Is Hidden

Imani is younger than Amanda. So, she wasn’t alive at the time of this conflict. But Eric appears to be Naya’s approximate age and he’s her husband. That might be he saw Richard as a rival or that person was that.

Y&R has offered scant backstory tidbits about Eric, who is yet to be seen. That could be the entire rub, or most of it.

Who would want Richard gone more than a jealous boyfriend who wanted to eliminate the competition? Yes, Eric. But the audience hasn’t been given enough information to know whether this line of speculation is legitimate or not.
