A gift was received during the Christmas season. Amanda made contact with her birth mother. But she didn’t receive the type of welcome, or even respect she was hoping for.

Devon’s willingness to help Amanda on her quest for backstory answers was deeply appreciated. It was during that time Morgan’s second character began to fall in love with Devon.

But the realization of Naya’s choice to give up her twins, which included Hilary Hamilton (Morgan), dramatically impacted Amanda’s psyche. She’s been thrown off-course, but is glad to have Devon to depend on.

Amanda is still newcomer in Genoa City, Wisconsin. She has been in town since 2019 and is furthering her professional reputation and deepening personal ties.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Recognizes Reality

Amanda naturally believed that Devon and Elena were done, based on what she was told and what the seemingly forming Demanda represents. So, learning that Devon revived a romantic connection with Elena will be shocking.

If Devon and Amanda hadn’t formed their own connection, then what he and Elena recreated wouldn’t be an issue. But Devon followed his revisit of the past with Sarpy’s character by crossing into relationship status with Amanda.

It’s natural that Amanda will be miffed by Devon’s revelation and react with natural emotion. Whether Devon and Elena revive their own pairing will be known by that point in the plot, or possibly before Amanda weighs in.
