The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashland Locke’s Condition Is Still A Mystery
On Y&R Tuesday, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) told Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) that he received a call that he said was from his oncologist. He claims he was told that his chemo is not working and that he will get a second opinion from Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Many Y&R fans are still questioning whether or not Ashland even has cancer. His actions indicate that he may be healthy. He is never shown in a doctor’s office and refuses to allow his wife to accompany him to his treatments which is suspicious.

Dr. Hastings is the chief of surgery and not an oncologist yet Ashland has latched onto him. Someone in Genoa City should have thought it was odd for Locke to want to donate a large sum of money to the hospital because Nate treats him normal and not like a dying man.

The Young and the Restless recaps and spoilers show Ashland then invited Nate and Elena Dawson (Britney Sarpy) to his wedding when he barely even knew them. The Y&R writers seem to be hiding this odd behavior in plain sight.

To top it off Ashland asked Nate to be his best man and not one person questioned this move. Dr. Hastings did enquire about other friends Locke may have and the answer was that he only had business associates. Some fans believe Nate is being “pumped and primed” and made ready for Ashland to strike. Perhaps Locke wants the good doctor to confirm his fake illness or even a fake cure.

Spoilers indicate that the entire truth will be revealed regarding Locke but do not give a timeline. It is clear that he has some type of an agenda where Nate is concerned but there is one thing Ashland may not have considered. Nate crossed the line once when he helped Victor Newman fake his death. Dr. Hastings might not desire to get his hands dirty. He could be shocked by Ashland’s request and end up being the one who exposes him.

The producers have struck again! I will never forget the way they treated Brenda Dickson and many others. Every actor that showed any promise, had any charisma at all, was jettisoned in favor of mediocre actors and convoluted, ludicrous storylines.
