Y&R spoilers and updates show Billy recently abandoned his plan to go after Newman Media – or did he? Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that in the meantime, Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) also wanted Newman Media, and she was even willing to work with her ex-husband to get her hands on it!

Victoria’s ambitious dream had been to snap up both Newman Media and ChancComm, and merge them with her and Ashland’s Newman-Locke, making her and Ashland’s company a huge conglomerate and basically, the only game in town!

The Young and the Restless updates reveal Billy had come to Victoria and told her he had changed his mind and while Victoria is super angry over his bailing out, Ashland is skeptical of Billy’s change of mind and heart! Victoria was also shocked that her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) liked her plan because she’d be buying out his and her brother Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) company, and she’s a bit skeptical about Victor’s approval.

Y&R Spoilers – Ashland Locke Questions Billy Abbott’s Change Of Heart

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will see Ashland question Billy’s change of heart, and he has some theories that he will talk to Victoria about, and what he thinks is really going on. Ashland can’t see someone going as far as Billy has, first paying beaucoup bucks to Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) to try and ruin Ashland by exposing his past, and then faking a relapse into gambling and alcoholism just for fun!

Billy indeed has pulled some stunts in his time, and gone down many paths of self-destructiveness, which he pulled from in his gaslighting of Adam. For Billy’s part of the charade, he was hoping to bait Adam and Victor into publishing an exposé on him and then suing them for slander! Ashland can’t see anyone going to all that trouble and then dropping the ball; there has to be more!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashland Locke Tells Victoria Newman-Locke They Must Find Out What Billy Abbott’s Really Up To

According to Y&R spoilers and updates, Ashland will tell Victoria that they must find out what Billy’s really up to and soon, before it’s too late to stop it. Viewers of The Young and The Restless can imagine that Victoria agrees, but how will they find out; Adam’s not an easy person to fool but Billy totally snowed him! Adam and Billy have a long history of distrust, and Billy was very smart in exploiting Adam’s distrust of Billy by giving him just what he expected to see! Victoria was surprised that Billy could be that devious – and smart, but she has to admit that she was impressed with his fooling Adam like he did!

Ashland and Victoria can understand that Billy may just have wanted to get some long-simmering revenge on Adam, but then it wasn’t that long ago that Billy attempted to run him over! Victoria agrees that they will have to be very cautious and use the principle of having to outcon the con to find out what Billy’s real game plan is!
