At Society he speak with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) about following the money trail of a 20-year-old who came into a windfall of cash – possibly the inheritance of someone he did not know very well. He will ask how difficult it would be to change a will after an individual has already passed away.

Amanda will reply that the lawyer who drew up the will in the first place would be the one who could have taken such action and add that the attorney would risk being disbarred and face possible imprisonment. Billy knows that Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) was disbarred, has been blackmailing Locke and now thanks to Victor has disappeared.

It looks like Gaines helped Bobby DeFranco steal the life as well as the inheritance of the real Ashland.
