CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers and updates say the CBS soap opera will be returning to filming next week, which means new Y&R episodes could be airing in a couple of weeks. Y&R spoilers and leaks hint that when the soap returns there will be a baby boom in Genoa City, which makes sense seeing as how it has been quite a while since a major pregnancy rocked the daytime drama.

Sure, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) had a baby, but the writers didn’t exactly capitalize on Elizabeth Hendrickson’s baby bump and make it a major plot. In fact, fans actually expressed on social media that they wished the pregnancy had been more of a big deal on the sudser, rather than swept aside.

Young and the Restless fans want romance and scandal, they’re growing rather tired of the business room meetings, hushed family enterprise drama, and never-ending Newman power swaps. And, nothing says soap scandal like an unexpected pregnancy or paternity test switcheroo.

Who will be pregnant when new Young and the Restless episodes air? Well, the possibilities are actually endless. There are a whole lot of childbearing age women running around Genoa City without any children. And, let’s be honest, age is nothing but a number on Y&R, it wouldn’t be shocking if they made someone more mature pregnant like even Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Y&R Spoilers – Devon Hamilton And Elena Dawson Baby On The Way?

A popular Young and the Restless rumor hints that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) could have a baby on the way, which would be nice to see since Devon has somehow gone years without any children.

Also, Y&R leaks hinted before the soap opera went off the air that Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and/or Summer Newman (Hunter King) could wind up with an unexpected pregnancy. Of course, that would create the “Who Is the Baby Daddy” saga that always keeps us entertained. Would Kyle Abbott have a baby on the way with Lola after he dumped her for Summer? Yikes!
