Spoilers are showing that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be getting much closer to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) in upcoming episodes. So far, it is a close and easy friendship, with nothing physical between them, but this could change.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Mishael Morgan, who plays the role of Amanda, spoke about her character’s relationship with Jason’s character, Billy. She said the couple are friends, but they can also be likened to “kindred spirits.” While they live totally different lives, they somehow have a clear understanding of each other. She continued by saying their relationship is progressing in an “easy and natural” way.

The Young and The Restless Spoilers – Amanda and her abusive ex-fiance

This is so much so, spoilers are teasing that Billy – feeling so comfortable with Amanda – could end up confessing things he hasn’t mentioned to Victoria in the past. However, he suddenly realizes that he is monopolizing the conversation between them, and asks Amanda to open up on her side. Amanda really opens up to Billy, telling him about her abusive ex-fiance and how she had to file a restraining order against him.

Mishael continued in her interview by saying this was a huge step for Amanda to take and that she had finally felt safe enough to open up about her past. This only goes to prove how close the relationship is becoming, when she can tell someone about all the trauma she has gone through.

Mishael went on to say that Billy will become Amanda’s “cheerleader,” just as she has been for him. However, how will this affect his relationship with Victoria? Especially with him telling Amanda things he has never mentioned to her? Obviously, she won’t be happy with this turn of events when she finds out how close Billy has gotten with the new arrival in Genoa City. This will leave Billy with a big decision to make in upcoming episodes, as his relationship with Victoria starts coming apart.
