Victoria, like her father, could stomach some horrible moments from Ashland’s past. But she would not be inclined to overlook current amoral actions Ashland might make.

So if Ashland has Jesse handled or does something that puts Billy’s life at risk, then Victoria’s love will be jeopardized. It would be ironic if Billy’s persistence, which Victoria has been strongly opposed to, leads to Ashland being baited.

Billy believes Ashland is the wrong man for Victoria. Billy also believes that Ashland is a threat to their children’s stability.
